Why are girls more picky about a guy's face?

I think it's stupid to judge a guys face. Why in the world would a girl want to judge a guys face that he has to look good. So your saying you want a short relationship..is that what you want? because appearance does not last longer than personality. Personality is the key that will make him really attractive while appearance fades and changes from ageing throughout the years. An example "I like you cause your cute looking"; (five years later) you don't look cute anymore and then I'll be eeww "your ugly I don't like you anymore". Now can you see the difference between personality and face that will make him attractive.

when I was younger I did tend to be picky on guys but through years I got sick of it now I don't care as long his a good person. love is love. Sometimes you fall inlove with someone who ain't the prettiest but who they are makes them pretty.

it's not only that we girls are picky of guys facial appearance; it's the same goes with guys. Question is why is guys more picky of girls body? I'm a girl and I don't really care how he looks just aslong his attractive person. I'm not expecting him to be the hottest guy on the planet.

A body can be changed, and a face can't. Obese girls aren't attractive, but a normal sized girl has to have an absolute ugly as hell horse face for a guy to think she's unattractive.

a face can change it depends how you look after yourself. I think it crazy to judge obese girls. Fact is usually their pretty but when they lose their weight. Example the show the biggest loser.

Also honestly, unless you have a horrible personality and are a complete d***, a girl will come along who finds you attractive because of your personality. I have met many people who are average looking but there personality makes them that much hotter. And just the oppisite, I have met hot guys who I percieved after getting to know them a bit better to be the uglest guy I have ever seen.

Not to sound mean, but I'm going to be honest. I have to ask myself "what will the baby look like?" Most guys I know are pretty particular about the faces of the girls they date, and less so about the girls they bed. The exception being the few guys I know who like to be the "pretty one" in the relationship. (They want a girl who will fall all over them with appreciation, and put up with more crap from them than the average pretty girl would.) For some women, a body will make up for part of the face. To some, a hott body will make a guy a little less ugly. For others, a lot of money will make a guy a little less ugly.

Women, instinctively, have to be more particular. Men are said to be suited to spread their seed wherever they can, while women are more concerned with the futures of their offspring. (attractiveness, strength, intellect, and whether the father would theoretically be a good provider)

I definitely don't agree with you if you're saying that men are more pickier about the opposite gender than women are. Unless you mean that men tend to go for a girl's body more than her face. Its not that most women are picky, its that it takes more for us to be turned on by a guy. For guys its a little bit more easier to sleep with a girl they aren't attracted to but for a girl it isn't. Looks get you noticed but your personality is what keeps the attention.

Guys are much more picky about a girls body than girls are about a guys. But girls are far far more picky when it comes to a guys face. I'm "ugly" but skinny, and I'm only limited to morbidly obese girls with yellow toenails and/or an ugly face just because girls don't think my facial bone structure is good enough for them. Doesn't seem like a fair trade does it?

Then those girls aren't obviously worthy of your attention/time. You'll find someone. Be confident and love yourself. You're way too hard on yourself especially by saying you're ugly. Confidence gets you far with a girl no matter how you look.

I'm not just saying that. If a guy walked up to me and was confident in himself and gave me the impression that he was happy with who he was then I'd take the time to get to know him instead of just turning him away just because of how he looks.
