Why do guys stare intently at a girl's face?

I was at this guys house last night, and we have been talking for a few months.. And me him and a couple of each others friends were all sitting in his driveway just talking and I was cold so I was cuddling my legs close to my chest and he was sitting accros from me, and while our friends were talking about gossip, I felt left out so I was just staring off into space. As I was doing so I felt a pair of eyes in me.. And I knew they were his so I didn't look. And he kept his eyes on strictly my face for about 3 Min's until finally I looked and we locked eyes and I had to look away first because his eyes carried something else in them.. He was still staring at me after that until his friends called for his attention..

With that said honestly I take it as either 2 reasons. Either has a beautiful face or he is imagining her naked. lol Its crazy but I can contest for both reasons. lol
