Woman are far more violent than society cares to admit too... and women. Often it is men who are blamed for domestic violence. Having responded a number o domestics, I have to say the story versus reality is in stark contrast. Then gay men seem to be strife laden. So... go figure.

From one of the articles posted above, the lead in says:
" A new study, published in the July issue of The American Journal of Men’s Health, (2018) indicates that gay male couples experience domestic violence at rates comparable to heterosexuals — but it doesn’t have to be that way."

I don't believe the words "comparable" and "common" mean the same thing. These articles confirm it happens at about the same rate as in heterosexual couples.

I did. It's not overwhelming, nor are some of the study sources cited. One in particular is simply a BLOG where they simply report numbers without reference, and sometimes say " ... in a study of etc, etc". Well - which study? Who did it? When? Where? I need more reliable facts, not blogs and numbers without reference. What I CAN believe is that it's equal to hetero relationships and "possibly" greater, possibly, not probably. Either way, your post bring up a good point.

Sorry, but I'm not going rely on a study of 160 couples in one country, although at least it's WebMD which has some credibility. The hetero stats around the world vary due to reporting as well. Take Japan for instance. The number of reported cases there is quite low, (under 20%) and that's very much a cultural thing. It's easy to imagine it's twice that. Elsewhere, the numbers range from 33% in the USA to 50% in Asian countries like Bangladesh or Myanmar, among hetero couples. Whatever the actual number is, I can acknowledge that it's too high !!
