Spiritual Connection through Eye Contact?

About a year ago when I used to be friends with this amazing girl I really fell for her hard but she had a boyfriend, one time when we were hanging out and we were in my car we made sudden eye contact and all of a sudden I felt this deep spiritual connection with her I felt her feelings and that she wanted to tell me something but couldnt. I completely felt like I had an almost out of body experience for a split second and I connected with her. It was the creepiest and more spiritual thing I have ever felt in my life. What I want to know if anyone else has had this happen or am I just crazy? lol

Just to clarify I seriously felt like I was out of my body and not conscious for a split second and had a deep rush of feelings. Its never happened to me ever again with the numerous girls that I've hung out or gone out with.

I knew this would happen lol. Its not non stop eye contact... It was just something spiritual almost paranormal that happened. Of course most won't understand because theyve never experience a connection like this. It was extremely weird.

I have been searching for what feels like forever for someone who has had even the slightest similar experience to me, and no one has come close, but YOU have. To help give you an idea of my experience.

I have this guy friend of mine, and I've never felt this way about him before this 'spiritual connection' I would call it we had, anyways, We've been going to Cosmetology school together for a year now, and this summer, about 2 months ago we began developing this deep connection, nothing like I ever felt with somebody, I didn't think anything of at first, I thought it was because we had so much in common, but every time we went out back for a smoke or a break, we found ourselves reminiscing about our past and sharing our darkest secrets we've never told anybody, the whole week, we just opened our souls to each other. I began to feel like I knew him all my life, or in a past life, we had this deep connection.

At the end of the week is where it all got crazy. We were sitting outside like normal, chatting like a bunch of kids, you couldn't get us to shut up. But then out of NO WHERE there was this serene silence, no words between us, a deep spiritual gaze that lasted for what felt like forever but probably only about 3-5 seconds. But I felt an out of body experience, I felt like our souls melted together, and that like you said all of our hidden feelings came to the surface. I had no feelings for him before this, and all these feelings came rushing to the surface like a tidal wave, I felt like I was dreaming in this moment, I was lost his eyes, he was lost in mine, everything was blurred out, it was just him, and me. But I felt like I connected with him spiritually, I felt electrified, it was the most euphoric and heavenly feeling I have EVER felt. This guy friend of mine and I are both in long lerm relationships, so the idea of love between us is not a question. But why him? I dream of him every night now, and I often wonder if he dreams of me when I do, because they are crystal clear, I can write them down. This was an out of this earth experience. I am a very stressed person, but I felt serenity in that moment, peace. Odd to say, but it's like I saw the light in his eyes. We are bonded to the hip, and we have known each other for only a year. I believe in the paranormal, spirits. But this was a spiritual awakening. I want to know, did he feel this too? Because he acted different afterward, like he was hiding from me at first, like I touched/saw his soul and he knew it and he saw mine. I sound crazy I know ()

@Astradez wow. I know how you feel. My experience was very, very similar. Fortunately, my friend and I talked about it - at least to each other. Now I am looking for some kind of answer to this. I believe you are right, when you say it was a spiritual awakening.

Hello, I've had a similar case. We were friends for 5 years and he recently lost his father. I was hurting for him for being so sad. He was talking about his father when all of a sudden our eyes gazed deeply for about 5 seconds in which at first everything around us dissapeared and then I had a out of body experience. My question is if it has always been all in my mind or did he ever feel the exact same way too? Has any of you asked the other person? Did they feel exactly the same way? or can this occur to only one person even if both are connected?

i think the same (or something similar) happened to me. The first time I saw him and looked into his eyes...it was like everything went silent, and I had tunnel vision; all I could see was him, everything else was blurry. It must've stayed like that for a second or two but it felt much longer. A flood of emotions? I know completely what you're talking about :)

You definitely experienced something close to what I had happen to me. Without the out of body experience, not lying, I only felt a rush of emotions and didn't see anything around me for legit half a second

good! So I are not alone. I did feel all fuzzy though. I lost all of my senses, accept for seeing him. :) I am so happy that I am not crazy lol

Oh my... I have been searching for people with a similyr experience for almost 15 years. No joke.
I read hundreds of out-of-body-experiences, astral travel and what not and nothing seemed close.

The same thing happened to me and a very close (female) friend. We had dinenr together in our favorite restaurant and were talking as usual. we always felt unusually close but that night something happened that cannot be described properly with common words. We looked at each other and suddenly I felt like moving forward while my surroundings blurred away until it felt like a bright light, almost like a tunnel. I know this sounds crazy, but...
Suddenly I was back in my chair/body and she looked totally terrified at me asking "what the hell did you just do? you were... inside my head somehow!" we were both totally puzzled. She saw the exact same thing as me but also added she couldn't feel her body anmore and felt like we were one for a moment.

It sounds totally crazy and overly romantic, but we were just friends. WE never told anyone about it until recently.

I started researching this topic like like a maniac because I am still looking for an answer. Anyone else looking for an answer and interested in telling me privately for sharing details is more than welcome to message me.

i think you're refering to clicking or that instant non-stop eye contact. it's pretty amazing like you want to take a dive in that persons eyes.

I have had such an experiences before although only a couple of times ever and come to call it True Attraction from then on. It happens only if I feel really sexy for some reason and there is a beautiful girl around the same time. But when it does happen, it's just amazing. I don't know any word or concept that explains what you would feel.
