When arguing that systemic racism is a real problem in the US or your country, were you ever accused of having a "victim complex"?

I. E. that you were trying to push the "systemic racism" narrative to blame your failings on something else besides your own merits.

I was arguing that systemic racism against African Americans was a problem and I was accused of trying to use systemic racism to account for my problems :S

And to think people say that the "regressive left" has taken identity politics to an extreme but this is ridiculous.

There is no systemic racism in my country, but that exists in the country where I live. When I say that there is racism here I'm accused of exaggerating and also of being crazy. The people from this country like to say that there's no racism, that everybody is welcomed and that there is more racism in other countries.
They like to point out the US, which pisses me off! They're a bunch of hypocrites and liars.

Victim complex is used to suppress an opinion they are uncomfortable with to feel better about their lopsided arguments.

This happens a lot in domestic violence, where the abuser tends to think he is the one being mistreated. A topic I heard a lot of came from the same mentality of people saying there is reverse racism against whites. 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️

Racism in the US is fueled by it's wealthy citizens, and kept well fed. It serves a great many capitalistic purposes and won't be allowed to die down or be resolved without a lot of unity and perseverance.
