Everyone should have a role model to look up to, it is a great way to give yourself goals that can overall improve you as a person.
For example, my role model is Geralt of Rivia. One of the reasons why is because he is so relatable. He was forced into being a Witcher as a child which did not make for a good childhood. I too went through tragic events in my teens that I couldn’t do anything about. Geralt has a job he bitches about in the books because it isn’t easy work, the pay is not the best and a lot of people have no respect for his needed profession. As a Funeral Director and embalmer I can relate to his complaints. Geralt is also branded a freak for being a Witcher and doesn’t quite fit in with society. Due to my past, race and life experience I am often labeled a freak as well. Also, those tragic events in my past changed me for better or worse, some people have argued whether or not I even have emotions, kind of like how Geralt was supposedly stripped of emotions. Geralt also has a good taste in women, I also find shapely women attractive.
Another reason why Geralt is my role model is because he is a total badass that regardless of how the world had treated him, still does what he feels is right. A lot of the decisions he makes are difficult, but he uses logic to interpret his choices. Even when he went up against an opponent he knew he could not beat and wouldn’t spare him a second time, he did it to save the people he cared about. He avoided politics and all other evils as a way to remain good along the path. I could go on and on about why Geralt is so inspirational but I think I’ve wrote enough to present my case.
