3. SC Johnson (Formerly Johnson Wax, a host of products to substitute for P&G ones here)
4. Colgate Palmolive, obviously known for those two flagship brands and many more
5. Unilever (Dollar Shave Club, and all those "Axe" products, so teenage boys, fear not, you can still buy that stuff and not be supporting a shitty company like P&G has become)
If you have stock, you might see if you can start a "proxy fight" if enough shareholders in P&G are as ticked off about this as you and I are, or just (short) sell it.

Oh good grief. It is hardly worth the effort.
Ordinarily I would go into a prolonged answer. In this case, though, it can briefly be summarized.
There was a time when buying a razor was all about buying a razor to shave. Now, men no longer to seem to shave - have you noticed how every guy seems to have some variation of a beard? - unless it is their chest hair, their legs, their pubes and their armpits. On their faces, a gorilla, on their bodies, they look like they have yet to go through puberty.
Go figure.
Alternatively, buying a razor is now an invitation to being lectured to on all your alleged shortcomings by a major corporation. The irony here being that those who applaud these advertisements are typically the the kinds of folks who rail against the dangers of multi-national corporations and the nefarious influence of the evil reptilian rich.
As Emerson said, something about a foolish consistency and the hobgoblin of little minds. As I say - go figure.
Bottom line. I go to Gillette to buy my razors, I go to my church, the great philosophers in history and the way I was raised to determine how I should conduct my life. ... and never the twain shall meet.

1. I fuckin LOVE this parody. It was hilarious and very hard to argue otherwise, I could not stop laughing so THANK YOU for reminding me it existed as apparently, I had already given it a like before, but now I'm subbed to the creator to help em a bit more.
2. I am bit of a stern capitalist, so I am not for a controlled "boycotting" any brand over an ad or political alignment I don't like. Some men may not like the ad/political alignment but if they still like the product, that's on them whether they get it or not, and I don't judge too much either way.
Economically though, i will judge them a bit, because Gillette for years seems to be among the most expensive anyways and i usually avoided them WAY before this ad came out. i'm sure plenty other men have done the same for the same reason, so this sudden wave of men who no longer want to use Gillette ONLY because of the ad? Well, i think to look a bit beyond that, because if they just go to competing brands with similar price and quality (which, I never thought was justified, like, EVER) then I don't see them as actually taking a stand against this sorta thing, as direct competition likely think similarly.
If you REALLY want to stick a middle finger up to Gillette and really that whole industry in general that kinda deserved it long ago (prices have ALWAYS been STUPID high), then just buy the no name brand and go as cheap as possible. Hell, do as I do and get an electric one, which I've gotten MUCH more monies worth since the day i bought it.
Hell, in general, MANY industries deserve men sticking up a middle finger to em. Think about all the beer, car, diamond, etc. commercials that for DECADES have treated men as little more than horny, brainless savages that will fork over money for a slight boob peak. The Gillette razors or rather the cartridge razors that now Gillette wants to sell, are poor quality razors that wear easily and have a very high price and are sold with a marketing oriented to deceive the customer. The cartridge razors are also harmful to the environment as they are made up of plastic and metal agglomerates that can only be recycled after mechanical processing. Cartridge razors such as those currently sold by Gillette are made to wear out as soon as possible so they need to be replaced as soon as possible. Therefore cartridge razors have dull blades that often create irritation and tear the hair instead of cutting it even when it is new.
Therefore a priori of the social messages that Gillette wants to send, only stupid people would buy such razors.
Gilette by selling cartridge razors makes very high profits because in fact it sells shoddy products at inflated prices, praising the customer that more shoddy blades cut better than a sharp blade.
If you want to give a gift to your skin and to your wallet and then boicott Gilette, buy a double edge razor and learn how to cut your beard.

As someone who firmly opposes what they tried to push, I'm of the opinion they have every right to do what they wish with their company. That being said, I know I will never buy Gillette again (unless it appears they've undergone a very serious revamp in the company's political ideology), but I won't actively try to harm their company beyond ceasing to patronize them and socially condemning them.

I think that if you disagree with the ad (and I have no idea why any one in their right mind wouldn't be against a clearly rabidly sexist ad (that belittles men despite trying to sell a product to men)), then yeah, you should boycott it. Nah, that's old fashioned. Nowadays you advertise your product by showing people doing completely unrelated things like driving though the countryside or kayaking or mountain climbing or something. They are ultimately hoping people will forget and unfortunately that is the norm. If they are constantly reminded of this they may actually apologize, but I don't see it. However, they have lost some serious money because of their antics. They issued a "we're sorry for why we're not wrong", but they haven't fully recovered and with any memory maybe they won't.

Last time i shaved my face was about 11 years ago. I use swedish local shaving blades for my head and the beard is there to stay.
