yet guys are always like eww a girl bleeds from her
crouch.Nasty!
Well I'll admit it's not exactly an attractive feature, but I understand that it's natural, can't be helped, and is not all that pleasant for the recipient either. So yeah, it's kinda gross but I don't just go around telling any girl who's on her period that she's gross, that's just rude and insensitive. Honestly, I'm probably the least grossed out by it of almost any guy, I mean I'll still have sex with my girlfriend if she's on her period, usually in the shower to avoid messing up the sheets. However, it's still not exactly pleasant conversation material, and honestly? Why would you tell guys about it anywas? It's not like we can relate to it or sympathize with you. I mean I can express sympathy to an extent, but when it gets down to it, that's something you should talk to your female friends about who will have more to say on the topic where as most guys have the basic jist of what goes on with that but nothing more beyond that.
Also you mentioned in another response that a guy thinking it's gross is being judgmental? It has nothing to do with judging you. You'll probably call this a bad comparison, but it would be like you saying that people shouldn't call excrement gross because it's a natural bodily function. And it's essentially not that different, just the body expelling waste material. Granted that's not the best analogy in the word, but you see my point Some people just don't like blood already, and the idea of blood. DEAD blood at that, which comes from the place we like to put a part of our body into (pardon the graphic imagery, lol) can be a little discomforting for guys. So yeah a lot of guys might be grossed out by it a little bit, but in general I think they understand it and aren't thinking that YOU are gross for it.
Well I would like to point out that the menstal blood isn't as you put it "dead". Aside from that I feel like we tell you we're on our periods because we feel you should know. Not so you can give us sympathy, but rather as a heads up. Do you catch my drift? I mean I like to let my significant other know that things are "closed for maintenance" and in case if we wake up and the sheets look like the "Japan flag" he'll know why. I don't know just something to consider thinking about. But hey call me crazy!! Lol
yeah its gross but its human nature too just like you said ,
but its mean and rude when a guy will say that directly to the girl face even though if she's his girlfriend or his wife .
Well. I think it is gross as well, and If I could get rid of my period without nasty side effects, I would. I know there are options, but most either remove a lot of calcium from your bones, or greatly increases your risk for cancer or pyometria.
Honestly, I don't see how bleeding out is an evolutionary advantage- why did humans start doing so in the first place? In the early times, you would attract predators by leaving blood trails around all the time, honestly, evolution messed up with this. Our closest animal relatives just get vulva or butt swelling- much better than bleeding out,and loosing a ton of much needed iron every month.
Actually all primate menstruated also some bats and the elephant shrew. I’d like our ancestors we didn’t have contraception and breastfeed for extended lengths we would get periods far less often. Making it less of an evolutionary draw back.
Additionally genetic anomalies are more prevalent in our species however our bodies are equips to detect many of the genetic coding errors and menstruate or spontaneously abort those pregnancies in the very early days of conception. Periods are actually an amazing mechanism that has allowed for the progression of our species.
I'm a girl, and it isn't exactly something I want to film and show the grandkids. It's pretty disgusting. However, the man that tells his girlfriend/wife/etc that she's gross when she's on her period? That man must have cajones the size of watermelons and/or a death wish. I don't recommend it fellas.
Anything that creates pain that can readily be compared to that scene in Alien where the thing pops out of that guy's chest, what THAT must've felt like? It's not "beautiful". It's nasty and more than a little scary sometimes for everyone involved.
I dated a guy (27) who acted grossed out and told me he didn't want to talk about my period when i laughed about how bloated i was. But the week before he was laughing hysterically describing his "coffee water diarrhea" while we were having dinner at a pizza place.

It has never bothered me at all. It's a perfectly natural process and have I been taught that since I was a very young age. I've always been around a lot of women who have talked about their periods and not once have I been grossed out in the slightest. It just on of the many ways men and women are different.
I understand that periods are pretty yucky. But recently, I was telling my guy friend who I felt comfortable around that I was feeling a bit ill because of my periods. I didn't directly just say " IM ON MY PERIOD", I said, " oh yeah just women things". He replied to me with 3 voice memos of him saying "ew" and fake gagging and retching. I'm a tough cookie and it more angered me than upset me. I just thought it was very unnecessary and rude of him. If he didn't feel comfortable he could have just moved the conversation on. He may have meant it as a joke, but when I had just been offering my support after telling me he was feeling a bit low, it just thought it was uncalled for. I'm not saying that periods should be glorified and we should telling everyone in-depth about our periods, but all I/m asking for is a little common decency and respect
:)
Even though it's natural, it's still seen as gross. Much like urine, feces, vomit, non-period blood, etc., it's a bodily fluid and bodily fluids are widely seen as gross. It has nothing to do with the fact that it happens to just women, it's the fact that it's a bodily fluid. Some guys are into period blood, albeit very few and far between.
no they are not! i like to eat them in most fertile days!!! period means fertility i would eat that pussy like its the last day of my life...
Yeah um. If a guy bleeded out of his penis, I'm pretty sure girls would say, "eww nasty".
Because they are. That fact that it's natural doesn't make it any less disgusting that clumps of blood are coming out of your vagina.
To be honest.I'm a girl and have to go through it but that doesn't stop me thinking its gross.
I don't blame them.
Haha ik I don't like it to much either! but at least they don't have to put up with it!! I mean they have no idea what we go threw! they have no right to judge it
Face it, bodily functions are gross, lol. Anything the body (male or female) excretes, whether it be sweat, piss, mucous, or blood, it's just not all that pleasant. It seems like you're just upset that this is one type of bodily function that's exclusive to girls. Can't help you on that one, I'd just stop worrying about it so much. If a guy goes out of his way to mention that he's grossed out by it he's a jerk, but they're not unjustified in finding it rather unpleasant.
Because they are. Pee and poo are natural, we can't help it, yet it's still gross.
Immaturity. Most guys don't think like that.
I'm a girl, and I think they are gross.
