To me its a hallow gesture, much like the peace deal. Many conflicts and issues we have as a species stem from the biggest issue we are creating as a species. Our biggest issue is people putting a group before their humanity and the humanity of others. It really does not matter if we are talking about current events in the US, conflicts in the middle east or hostilities between north and south Korea. All of them have the same root cause.
While I will be happy to see our military leave the middle east, the peace deal is still a hallow gesture. Because it does not get humanity a single step closer to fixing the root cause of the issues in the region. Because people will still be putting groups ahead of their humanity and the humanity of others.

He ended the Korean War and met with Kim Jong Un, among brokering better relations between Israel and the UAE, between Serbia and Kosovo. That is more than Obama ever did, who only received the award because the media was desperate to give it to someone who was black. However, I do not approve of Trump's policies in the Middle East and Syria/Iran in particular, which is bad for our relationship with Russia, nor with his antagonism toward China, even if this pandemic is their fault.

Is the media lying about the riots? The armed militias? The constant mass shootings over the last 4 years?
