What reasons do makes it reasonable to respect tall people more than short people and well also ordinary height people too?

Why do we tend to respect tall people on behalf of other people. Have anyone ever given it a thought, is is build on experience that normal height people act differently and earn the disrespect they typically are given on behalf of us who are tall and very tall. Personally I think that how ever I act in given full respect wherever I go, and people always treat me nice and respectful, while my AVARAGE height boyfriend is often treated less respectful and he never get the attention most people require when he say something, eventhoug I often should be given full attention as he usally only open he's mouth when he have great things to say. So why this disrespectful towards most people, who aren't born with genes to bee very tall

Because in the past if you were tall you were looked up to as a person who could help, lead, and protect people (especially the smaller ones). I know some people tell me they can't see me doing certain adult things since I look like I'm 12. But if I were to point out to them that saying such things isn't polite, they'd get mad at me for it (not sure why). I don't say anything to people who are taller and/or bigger than me though. But that's because I know it's wrong-where it's obvious other people don't. But I would hope a very tall person (6-8 ft) would be more polite to me.

I'm very tall and polite to every shorter persons, and in no way do I presume tall people can do things better than normal height people, infact I try to stand back and let avarage height people ( men usally) help instead , az I don't want to make them feel intimidated by me reaching or lifting heavy things in front of them) I must admit it's usually them if you who aren't tall , who create the thought that we tall are a kind of superior to all you rest, if never felt superior , and I'm afraid of dark , and used to avoid crowd of people as I feared there attention, and the fact everyone expected me to react if trouble happened, now nesting my much shorter ( not litteraly short 181 cm tall) hubby I'd becomed much more confident, but mainly because he always are in charge and try to take away attention, funny eny buy being my " Short" guy , as a woman with s shorter guy still create more attention than everything else, and he suddenly become the odd one, as people look at him as having a disease

I don't get why people think the guy always has to be taller than the girl. There are girls that can be 6 ft. tall, I've seen a few of them before. But most seem to be 5'5 ft.

Guess Randy Newman and you are ironic, well I hope so, short men are excatly just as good as normal men and a lot more attractive and have a great personality than tall men. I'd been in relationship with 3 gyyswho you might say are litteraly short as the were in the scale from 148- 160 cm tall, and for sure I felt they were short as in 204 cm tall, so I'm very very tall as a woman, but never felt awkward with them , one I were in relationship with for 2,5 year , and never once were his 148 cm a problem to us , or my height never bothered him either

Part of it is a misconception that short=weak, which is not only untrue but it's an outdated form of thinking because we no longer battle with swords and clubs.

Not even if we did, shorter men are just as brawe and strong as tall guys , and It annoy me my gender generally are so stupid to think a tall guy is better than a short guy
