Do Americans understand social class?

Every American I talk to associates class with whiteness.

And white girls act up like they are the preppy elite but they aren't. The 1% is a very minute fraction of the population.

Americans genuinely don't seem to understand class as it is understood in other countries.

Class has to do with who controls the means of production.

When i mention class in the USA they accuse me of being communist
