Why is the world so Classist?

My teacher use that word today and finally I had the word I've been looking for for so long to describe my biggest pet peeve

Because classism just kinda makes sense. The more you have, be it money, power, social connections, etc.; the more likely other people will be to want to associate with you. They want some of what you've got.

What? This is what I mean: classism. / (ˈklɑːsɪzəm) / noun. the belief that people from certain social or economic classes are superior to others.

No one is superior to another. It's okay to value those people but it's not okay to nor accurate to say they are superior to other human beings.

Yeah, I know what classism means. I hate it too, but that doesn't mean it doesn't make logical sense.

It actually doesn't make sense logically. All people are equal. I'm not talking about results. I'm saying all people are innately equal. If one doesn't understand why that is then they might as well be a classist.

My understanding of classism is that it is entirely based on results though? All people are equal in terms of intrinsic value, but the impact those individual lives have on the world around them is reflected (generally) in how others treat them.

I guess we should tell poor people to stop saving their money then. No upward mobility for them.

All of nature has some sort of a hierarchical system, so it's most "normal" or easiest to understand or accept.
