Honestly I have nothing really bad to say about Marijuana , but I do have some concerns that I think to myself , but I don’t criticize or be a hypocrite to people that do smoke all the time , I don’t really understand it to be honest but in my opinion I think it’s safer than alcohol you don’t Really hear stories of people getting into accidents or doing stupid shit cuz they were high , But I do think Marijuana should have a set legal age like alcohol considering kids nowadays are smoking it like it’s ok to do all the time , like it’s part of everyday life and feel kids are
Getting out of control with it , so my only true
Concern is our children , I do think some type of limitations should be set considering it is a substance and making these kids not want to do shit but sit around and get high all day , I will hate to see what this country is going to look like after I am gone to be honest lol As for adults I don’t give a shit what they choose to do considering it seems all of a sudden Marijuana is pretty Much accepted , Cops are even being more accepting of it which is a shock to me as well and it seems people are just using medical reasons as an excuse to why they smoke all the time , So it’s something that is out of our hands honestly , but if we can protect our children from making dumb choices then I am all about that but that’s even out of our hands as well, cuz no matter what , kids will still smoke it and get their hands on it and use excuses to why they are smoking it , So Just shows you right there that this Government doesn’t really care about the people, they just care about the money it’s bringing in and it’s proven that a shit ton of money is made from it. , I’d be lying if I said I didn’t smoke it, but I don’t smoke it everyday , it does relax me and helps me sleep better at times but I don’t let it Control me and I can go days and weeks without it and if I do smoke it’s a few puffs and I am done and I enjoy it at times like I enjoy beers on the weekends , , but that’s just me , I just have no desire to smoke everyday and choose not to, Me personally Doesn't see how people need it everyday but again that’s not my problem , I just choose not to smoke it everyday to feel good about myself , there are better things in this world then just sitting around getting drunk and high everyday , i actually enjoy it more when I wait to have it , so bottom line it is what it is and there is really nothing we can do to stop it ,21 Reply

+1 yMarijuana is a fucking PLANT the only reason it is illegal is because they can't tax it when people start growing their own. They give people with ADD/ADHD fucking METH for fucks sakes! Once they legalize everything the appeal goes away because there is no underground trade.

Lol I like the way u explained using fuck after every sentence. 🤣
To be perfectly honest with you, I think people should be able to smoke marijuana if they decide to. The legality of it is still questioned by a lot of states, I'd imagine if it was legal though they would tax it at all to hell.

I am from Canada where it has been legal nationwide for about 2 years now. You hit the nail on the head with that one. They brought out dispensaries owned by the government and they even have this "government sticker" that "proves" it's "legal weed". They sure as shit are trying to get their cut.
Unfortunately for them, they also legalized growing your own so everyone and their sister has four, 8 foot tall plants growing in their yard. Not to mention they still can't control what happens on the reservations and they each one has about 5-10 "shops" where you can roll up and buy as much as you want for 3/4 of the price.

It should be legal for any purpose. It's simply immoral to forbid and punish other people from using, growing or possessing it. Same goes for all substances. Your body is your property and you can put anything in there you want for any reason. If someone else or a group of people can make that decision for you, that's implying they own your body. And what is it called when someone else owns your body? It's called slavery.
Ask yourself the question: In a place where it's legal, let's say Netherlands, do you have the moral right to take their weed and punish them because in your opinion it's harmful for them? Of course not, so why would a man made law and a uniform give you that moral right?20 ReplyI have read most comments and most never seem not to understand the question, it’s not even a question on medicinal purposes, who cares? who even authorized use of drugs made from opioids for example? As long as a drug has been tested, certified safe, and treats, who cares? The big question is on recreational use of marijuana and it should be illegal and controlled everywhere in the world, just like any other drugs, it’s not a question of how much money we are talking nor whether it can be taxable or not, or whether people with still use it or not, it’s a question of its long term impact on human brain, affects diverse cognitive processes, memory, interferes with learning and impulse control, severe anxiety and other mental illnesses. Legalizing guns in countries like the US never made it safer, it made people paranoid waiting who shoot first and let’s not make it about the money in weapons, it’s about saving lives here. Just because people want it doesn’t mean its right.

+1 yHere it's now legal to grow cannabis since this year. No one goes silly because of it.
Large quantities and commercial production need a license.
I have my own saplings now and look forward to soon make me some Ganja oils.
I think that its useful to be informed how to grow, process and (or) to use it, before we dive into excitement.
Otherwise, marijuana is no greater threat to society than-for example- electing a wrong President

+1 yi personally don't understand the arbitrary prohibition of some drugs and the permission of others. like can we make up our minds if we grant the individual to decide for themself or do we not? xD i don't really care either way. just make it consistent.

+1 yProblem is, the moment in which you legalize it for medical use, you can bet your derriere that there will be a curious spike in ill people. Or sales under the desk.
We tried allowing the existence of marijuana based products here in Italy. Had to shut them down for an excess of illegal sales and a spike of medical requests. Also happens that some sold stuff to less legal peddlers roaming the streets.
Do NOT, fall for this.00 Reply 2.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I am for the legalization of all drugs. As prohibition didn't work with alcohol and hasn't been working with drugs. The same problems we saw with alcohol are happening with drugs: no significant drop in usage, the increase in more dangerous alternatives, and an ever increasingly violent organized criminal enterprises.

+1 yNo, smoking anything for medical reasons is stupid.
Congrats, no more glaucoma or reduced chronic pain, hows that lung tar though?
Also that shit stinks up the entire block with the smell of skunk ass...16 Reply- +1 y
@karaspara Thats already legal in the form of hemp oil/tablets. same health benefits, but with not anywhere near as much of a toxic thc.
- +1 y
@karaspara odd, here you can get it as a snack or cooking oil in the grocery store, or as a cbd oil or pill suppliment at a vitamin shop, and it's sold as paper, cloth, anti seizure medication, pain relievers, cement, bricks, and a few other things, hemp can't get you stoned so nobody cares if it's sold here.
The legal battle over here is pot, which is the high thc form lf hemp, and that shit smells like skunk ass and is almost exclusively smoked (some people also make edibles with it to get stoned, but thats fairly rare), some states in the US have legalized smoking pot for medical reasons, others for recreation, others its still banned.
- +1 y
@karaspara here its one of those fad things for the most part, the vast majority of people ignore it's existance in all those stores tbh, I wonder if thats why? I dunno.
I'm an artist and I don't even buy hemp paper because it's not a smooth texture like copy paper is.
+1 yWell its fucking stupud that its illegal on any level... however I personally like draconian drug laws... keeps the prices up

+1 yYes. I also think other drugs -not hardcore ones- should be legalize. Police should not waste its for drug dealers since we have more serious problems like rape
10 Reply3.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. My state legalized it and now we have stoners driving and it’s been made too easy to get. All it is, is a phone diagnosis and they’re prescribing it for everything. Even things it has no use for. You never see a Dr
12 Reply- +1 y
People don't admit that driving under the influence of weed is no different than driving drunk.
Also, pot can screw up the the brain's chemistry causing paranoia and other mental health issues.
Now this will piss off a lot of pot heads.
Pot CAN lead to the use of stronger substances. Many pot heads will seek better highs by buying street drugs. Some of those people will die of drug abuse.
Drugs should be legalized period. My body my choice.
Abortion is legal and you're killing a baby. Woman's body woman's choice.
But I can't smoke weed? Amazing.10 ReplyScrew weed for any purpose, make it illegal everywhere, it screws up so many people and clearly isn’t healthy, so get rid of it.

+1 yNo, it shouldn't. And yes, I do use products with CBD fractionates for certain clients for pain relief, but it does NOT have the addictive, destructive THC fractionates in the chemistry of "complete" marijuana.
00 Reply 1.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I'm Dutch and live in Canada now.. That stuff has always been legal to me and it's healthier than alcohol, so I think that's fine.
22 Reply- +1 y
It's stupid to compare the ill effects of one substance to those of another substance to justify its use.
It's illegal to drive while under the influence of pot. Stoned drivers can kill.
Heavy pot usage can lead to paranoia and other mental health issues.
The ill effects of alcohol do not justify the use of pot because it is "safer".
- +1 y
I'm not confident that you are qualified to judge whether someone is stupid, so I'll disregard that.
Anything can kill, driving while you got a cold can be deadly. You can sneeze and cause a car crash. No one fucking cares, the likelihood is too small.
If we deem a substance that kills many more people legal, then we as a society have chosen our boundaries. Weed is very far from those, because the complications caused by weed are very rare.
What legal purposes, it's all lies. By the way, every drug addict like addiction to meth and cocaine started with a simple marijuana. People need to tame themselves to have a better society and future.

10 ReplyIt should be legal period. It doesn't make sense to make alcohol and tobacco legal, but not weed.
11 ReplyI would be careful with it as for some people there is a high chance in developing psychosis/schizophrenia but for medical purposes I'd legalize it.
10 Reply602 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Why , only THC is what works killing cancer cells and medical growers keep the THC down very low by premature harvesting.
