I feel like in today's day and age you should absolutely defend your home, and dig a hole after rather than call the cops. People successfully sue for breaking in, and having a scratch from a fence board being out of place if they get caught or stopped.
Better to simply kill them and have them disappear. If you aren't close to them, there's no tie there, no
investigation into you, and it doesn't take more than 4-6 hours to dig deep enough and dump in some lime so there won't be any smell or animals digging them up. I mean, who knows, they could have been there when you bought the house. It isn't like you have to worry about hurting them or anything when you pull the slugs out with hemostats and toss those, the casings, and the gun into a swamp to be sure.
Ask the neighbors if they saw where that pig ran off to if they ask about the shots fired, tell the cops the same, pig was rooting up the yard. Ran off that way. What, is their ride or fence going to call the cops? "Billy was going to rob this place and I haven't heard back from him, I'm worried!"
KISS, keep it simple stupid. The less people involved when there's a body, the better. If you do have a tie to them, better to call the cops, and someone pregnant. You were defending them, not yourself.
It's sad, but narrative matters more than basic rights in society now. Including basic rights like knowing if a family member is dead or alive. Yeah, another human deserves more than an unmarked grave and unknown fate, but that's what has to be done to protect yourself. Not just protecting yourself, but erasing those who would hurt you.

It is a stupid argument.
it does cover a bit of what I know is an issue here in the UK.
if someone walked in to your house, picked up something and walked out without any verbal or physical threats against anyone inside or outside the house, you cannot really do anything.
its fucking bizarre but unless you believe you are at risk you cannot do anything.
An extreme example would be waking up to see someone about to walk out of your house with a TV.
Personally, they are going down but I know that I would be breaking a part of the laws regarding property,
That is the dumbest argument I’ve ever heard. Like holy shit. Nah fuck that. If you break onto my property or try to steal from me or harm me, then you’ll be dead.

In your home, in your car, in the street, in the bar you can defend yourself wherever you are…up until the day they figure out how each and every citizen can carry an armed police officer in their pocket. Or would you prefer that gay, lesbian, trans, non binaries continue to be victimized because they’re different. See the Second Amendment is for ALL Americans, not just white folks. The NRA was instrumental in securing those rights for former slaves and other black folks back in the day when the Democratic Party wanted to keep the negroes under their boot heels.
This lady has a right to have an opinion of her own.
For myself: I would not mind much if someone took a few of my starfruit.
Beyond this, I see an intrusion into my territory as an act of disrespect towards my sovereignty - and I will declare war in return.
If I release nukes, or if I kick his/her/its ass only: depends on the manner of how he/she/it enters. This should not even be a question. Everyone has the right to defend themselves against intruders in their own homes.
As society continues to unravel and law enforcement de-clawed we will depend more and more to our own devices for self protection. You sound like you surround yourself with stupid friends. I have a legal right to defend myself and my property… If you play stupid games, you’ll win stupid prizes. If you get smoked breaking in my home, that’s your fault.
So long as you have a right to be where you are, you're not committing any felonies while doing it, and you reasonably fear for your life, you can absolutely use deadly force to defend yourself. Get cameras though so the prosecutor can't fuck with the scene and plant evidence as they try to a lot, although detectives almost always catch them in the act and the case gets thrown out.
If I truly am in danger, then I will defend myself anywhere and everywhere, accordingly... of course.
She was confused, is all.
The laws of property and ownership are not the same as the laws of residence.
Yes you can defend yourself, but within reason.Ones own things should definitely be defended. Yeah, that argument is pretty absurd.
