Voted No, but mostly because "Black Lives Matter" is really little more than a group of people following a trendy slogan masquerading as serious thought. Where it is more substantive it tends to the extreme and is not so much the pursuit of justice as the catharsis that comes with seeking vengeance.
Thus for example, Black Lives Matter's recent craze to "defund the police." This is patently self-destructive where it is not simply absurd. Indeed, it was not 30 years ago that African-American community leaders were demanding a stronger police presence in minority communities as crime rates - as a result of the 1960s/70s passion for treating the criminal as a victim rather than a perpetrator - soared.
Indeed, thus how the nation got to its' current fits of moral exhibitionism and self-pity. The increased police presence of the 1980s, 90s and early 2000s brought crime rates down to levels that had not been seen since the peaceful placid 1950s. Now relatively secure and safe, many in those communities began to take their safety for granted and found the means to such safety as intolerably oppressive and racist.
Thus the cries of institutional racism and the theatrical protests in the streets that have now conduced to violence. It is feeling substituting for facts as the data show that, by far, most crime in the African-American community is black on black, that whites are far more likely to suffer police brutality than are black and indeed that in 2019, the last year that full statistics are available, that a grand total of 10 African-Americans were shot by white police officers.
All this against a background where, until the recent pandemic, the unemployment rate among African-Americans had fallen to its' lowest level since statistics for that demographic began to be kept in 1947. This also in a country that had not so long ago elected and re-elected its' first African-American President. A thing that would have been impossible had it depended upon African-American votes alone.
No matter, particularly in a populist age where the common man is fancied the pinnacle of all virtue and where self-pity is at a premium, the conclusion has been drawn that America is irreducibly racist and African-Americans are oppressed - the latter also playing off the virtue and cachet that comes with being classified a victim. This then leading to an extremism that is profoundly silly where it is not profoundly self-destructive.
Thus Black Lives Matter recently called for the abolition of the traditional family. This ignoring the fact that African-American children are, by far, the most likely to be born out of wedlock and raised by single mothers. The social pathologies that flow from that to follow - including higher illiteracy, a greater chance of criminal activity, drug addiction and so on.
Of course, instantly it will be argued that there is racism in America, as the recent Minneapolis episode illustrates. Actually, that is slipshod language. Bigotry there is. Racism, on the other hand, is a schematic ideology and is comparatively rare.
No matter, human beings are imperfect and imperfectible and if the expectation is that there will be no justice or peace until perfect racial harmony is achieved, the wait is apt to be a very long one. Indeed, it will come at the cost of the very social stability that the African-American community needs if it is to overcome the maladies that afflict it and are, by far, the primary source of its' grievances.
So Black Lives Matter is the drivel that is left behind when slogans substitute for thought and emotion replaces analysis. It being further aggravated by a supine culture that prizes moral exhibitionism and "virtue signalling" over the hard work and inevitably imperfect outcomes that will facilitate real social improvement.
100%. How many people on Instagram put that black out crap on their Instagram and don’t treat blacks with respect and more so just want clout/didn’t want to be called out for not paying mine to Black Lives Matter :/
No. I don't respect low IQ morons who do. I get these dumb white beta males who think I'm a "white nationalist" despite most of my internet avatars SHOWING I'm black. No white racist is going to pretend to be black on the internet unless they're an obvious troll.
Look, it's simple for all the dum-dums out there. Simple ideas are GOOD. (Don't be racist.) Ideologies are BAD. (All cops and whites are racists and if you don't support are violent terrorist group, you're automatically racist, too.) If you need to bully and peer pressure people into believing in something, your ideology is more than likely complete shit. Morality can't be "forced" into people, especially when it's such shitty anti-morality like Black Lives Matter, the organization that has literally killed more black lives than cops in America in the last 15 years.
I used to think you had to be a special kind of stupid and/or desperate to join a cult. Then the 2010s happened and millions of Americans joined them.
No I do not and here’s why :
These organizations start out great and then many , many bad eggs get a hold of these organizations and use them to create violence which deteriorates the original point of the organization. You have people that are totally against Black Lives Matter that blend in to pretend to be them to start violence to make the organization look terrible, and then you have the people that don’t even care and join the riots because they now feel like they have the freedom to be violent with no consequences. I am for the original BLM, I am not for what it has turned into.
Yupppp blm turned volition pretty quickly
If you aren't willing to fight back your letting black people be oppresed
@wilsonboiii fighting for black people is doing your part on a day to day basis. I treat black people with the upmost respect as long as the person I am speaking to deserves my respect. I won’t join in on a group that has people get violent during a riot and quite possibly ruin more lives.
Seems solid
@Jesus_is_the_guey I mean that is mainly what the original Black Lives Matter is fighting for. For white people to treat them with the upmost respect. I am a white person and do my part. I will never ever treat someone differently because of race. Not in my blood
Yes but unfortunately as you mentioned it’s far from what it once was and honestly I feel like it’s like that on purpose the group was sabotaged I did like the fact that in their webpage they also supported other ethnic groups which is something that seems to escape most blm supporters
@Jesus_is_the_guey 100% agreed it’s kind of like how they made charities into big Corporations. Something once built to help people no longer helps people and is only profited off of by those big companies. Everything gets ruined by society it sucks.
The reason I don't support BLM is because they blame other people for their lack of success. Every self-help guru tells us to stop blaming other people. We need to start taking responsibility for our actions. "If it's meant to be, then it's up to me." Stop expecting other people to hand you things.
Maybe just maybe its white people that caused this
@wilsonboiiii
You are saying that white people are responsible for the failures of Blacks. It's systemic racism that causes Blacks to fail. How do you explain the millions and millions of successful Blacks then?
Did you not know that all successful black people are white people in blackface. That s how blm will blame whites again. blm is just a hate group an extension of antifa and the black answer for the kkk.
@darkcloud1945
I've never heard of that before. That every successful black person is actually a white person in blackface. I'm sorry, but only uneducated idiots that are self-serving would believe that.
It is the next way they are going to blame whites for their stupidity Blm and the likes blame everyone else for their problems. Since the 1950 the black population have been given more and more freebee s to help raise their lives up beautiful housing turned into shit houses within six month food stamps traded for booze and drugs. Schools mark minorities on a curve. Job given to people on the basis of skin color not qualifications. Just look at N. Y. C. Fire Dept Because people can not pass the test let alone spell their name after twelve years of school they sued. Now they need not take a test some asshole judge gives them the job. But we all know that white people caused this somehow they never look to themselves they blame whitey for their problems

I was in the beginning back when Obama was president but since then they've rioted in Baltimore during Obama's years and caused tons of damage.
In 2020 they caused millions of damage across the country and killed more people than the cops they're rioting over. Anyone reading this should look in to the Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) in Portland Oregon and the shit that happened there.
They burned down neighborhoods and buisnesses who had nothing to do with it. And a lot of these neighborhoods are predominantly black. I've seen interviews of black people saying that they ruined the community. I've seen a black elderly woman say her life is harder now because she can't get around well and they burnder down the grocery store and pharmacy she goes to.
There was a black man who owned a sports bar they burned down that he put his life savings in to only to be burned down by these animals. And get this, when the local news was interviewing him they stepped in to his ruined bar and they saw a couple black guys trying to break in to his wall safe.
There was a recent interview of a black man at the Geroge Floyd Memorial Square saying black owned businesses are struggling because of all the crime and they want more police there.
And Patrisse Khan-Cullors a leader in the BLM organization was caught using the organization's money to buy multiple million dollar homes.
And one more thing. With all the rioting, looting, and killing. People actually have the audacity to be mad when people grab their guns and stand in front of their stores and homes when BLM come marching down the street. BLM has no right to destroy other people's property and livelihoods. People have the right to defend what's theirs. And from what I heard because of the BLM riots tons people became first time gun and apparently all the gun sales are enough to arm the marines four times over. So at least there's one good thing that came from it.
No.
First the entire concept of spouting platitudes... spouting (name your group) "lives matter" is just a useless waste of time and energy.
Second, pretty much all I see them doing is antagonizing people, harassing people, showing up at businesses, restaurants screaming at strangers, blocking traffic on public streets, screaming vile chants, blocking roadways and assaulting people.
That is the exact opposite of creating any positive outcome about anything.
There is nothing positive about mobs and mob violence.
Spouting some platitude doesn't have anything to do with anything in the real world.
I had some white blm loser come up to me saying he should kneel on my neck because I said his organization was racist. Luckily my boyfriend was coming out of the restaurant. The blm guy was some scrawny kid, but bigger than me. My boyfriend, a 5'11 black hunk of muscle, came in between us and asked the guy if there was a problem. He fled back to his group in an instant.
A. That sounds more made up than the tooth fairy
B. 5’11” is short
@Alpha4U If that was something that actually happened, that skinny liberal had his only time speaking to a woman in a dominant way taken away. Sad moment.
@Jesus_is_the_guey This sounds exactly like what these retards do
@Jesus_is_the_guey I never said he was tall, the average height is like 5'8. So he kinda is. Why would I make this up, there's a lotta videos of situations like this on yt?
That guy was a sorry excuse of a man
Blm is a African group, there's no whites
For an American it’s more like 5’10 but that’s really short almost everyone I know is close to my height and I’m like 6’2” which to me isn’t even tall either
@Jesus_is_the_guey Shut up cultist your as bad as her
@wilsonboiiii I love you too mamas
I support the idea that BLM was intended to have, not what it turned out to be. Plus it ur gonna loot anywhere how about hitting places that r actual racist and not the mom and pop stores or small business that have nothing to do with the problems.
Well looting and rioting and provoking false allegations is a sin according to our dear bishop Bullwinkle and let's hear what he wants to say about supporting this terrorist organisation.
Nope. I'm not a fan of terrorists so not a BLM fan. Terrorism: violence carried out by non uniformed fighters against civilians for political or religious reasons.
Living up to the username.
Thats pure propaganda, if that was real it would have been on one of the news
The news is sold out.
@wilsonboiiii if you missed out on the billions of damage and the dozens dead and countless assaults last year, you were living under a rock.
I've seen my native friends throw in full support of BLM and even say that natives should be rioting too. I don't consider these people friends anymore. I can't align myself with people that want to burn cities down.
That's hilarious because I grew up on a Native reserve. I have relatives who are native or mixed. And have many friends. Most think BLM is a waste of time. An embarrassment to minorities. Were you to compare native protests - such as happened in Canada - BLM is little more than fools burning down buildings, looting, and grunting with no real purpose.
I'm actually Navajo. Thankfully for the most part Navajos around my rez don't really buy into the MSM and are based.
Kiss the whites ass, they still be killing you're people
@lindabenally - that's very interesting seeing as when natives protest they are dignified. One merely has to look at the serious protests by natives in Canada as example. They earned the respect of their white counterparts in some areas who risked their own safety & freedoms, risked getting charged with criminal offense, to ship those natives out of the area. I highly doubt anyone would do the same for BLM members.
Yes. Discrimination against people of color has been going on for years, even with the peaceful protests nothing has changed. As bad as rioting is, how else will their voices be heard if they are ignored when speaking peacefully? Just a thought, since I see a lot of comments disagreeing with the way some BLM supporters protest. There’s also more peaceful gatherings and protests than there are riots.
Over 2 billion dollars worth of damages were made during the riots. A lot of black and brown owned businesses were destroyed. These communities haven't recovered and crime rates have sky rocketed. But at least the leader of BLM was able to by million dollars homes even tho she's against capitalism.
@upsettispaghetti - and what of Hispanics & Native Americans? Oftentimes in jail, oftentimes abused by police, profiled by police & society, etc. Hmmm... Are they invisible? Do they not exist in your mind? Should they just drop off the face of earth?
Kindly don't say BLM is for them too because it's BLACK Lives Matter. Not minority lives. Not all lives. Black Lives Matter.
There are less than a billion Europeans on this globe lady. Ask yourself who is the real GLOBAL minority.
Hold on pals !! First, I don’t think there’s a set leader for the BLM movement- or at least one that I’m aware of. So, who’s this “founder”? @Jersey2 and @UnknownUser01 ? I’d also like to do some of my own research on this individual. Personally I just believe in the movement itself and what it stands for. As I’ve said, riots aren’t the greatest. It sucks that there were “protesters” who were only protesting for the trend or to cause destruction for “fun”. I know that those who truly support BLM do not support the destruction of personally owned businesses. As for @SomeBlondeChick - I never said I was white. I’m Native American with some Hawaiian. I understand that BLM is a movement FOR the black community as I’ve never said otherwise, so I assume you’ve greatly misunderstood my comment. I don’t support what ‘ALM’ people have to say or what they believe in, if you still don’t understand. As an Indigenous woman, I’m already well aware of what people of color deal with. Maybe think before you start attacking someone you hardly know, that’s my advice. @Nikolaivanov - I don’t even know what to say to your comment, it sounds very ignorant, kinda pisses me off lol. Anyways, I may not be well educated on political matters, I’m only 19, I’m still young and focusing more on my education, but I will believe in what I want.
Here ya go, educate yourself on the real world and how it works. Don’t be a stooge.

meaww.com/blm-patrisse-cullors-calls-critics-of-her-3-million-dollar-property-portfolio-white-supremacists
@upsettispaghetti - you support black lives matter but not those of your own native brethren? How pathetic. And what a liar by claiming your native. What when natives never call themselves 'colored'. Ever. That is a term that applies solely to blacks.
@SomeBlondeChick - AHHHHHHH. Are you kidding me? 💀💀 It’s like you ignored everything I just said. When did I say I don’t support other Indigenous people? You’re literally imagining random things you want to, lol. And I doubt you know what Natives say or do, so don’t try to act like you know the community that well. A “person of color” is someone who is not WHITE. Far as I know, Natives aren’t white, pal.
@Jersey2 - Oh thanks, now I know who the ‘co-founder’ of the movement is, I did not know. If she does “bad” things, that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop supporting the BLM movement. No one’s perfect, we all know this, all the politicians and celebrities do shitty things. I can still support the movement without supporting the actions and decision of others.
It’s a farce to make the founders rich. It worked. All the statistics of black on black murders, police interactions vs death, police deaths, white killed by police… it’s a farm=ce for money supported by those who want political power.
Your heart is in the right place but your head isn’t yet… it comes as wisdom grows.
I consider 'people of color' as a deragotory sentence against the so called people of no color. If this only matters in American society then the slaves were freed what else do they want? The original plan was to send them all back to Liberia the colony of the freed slaves but these people refused to go and are the most entitled and ungrateful scum on this planet.
@upsettispaghetti - you just said, you clown, that you don't support ALM. ALL Lives Matter. That only BLM matters. Which means you DO NOT support Native Americans. Are you *that* daft & ignorant? Native Americans aren't black. BLM doesn't give a fuck what happens to them. BLM doesn't care that Native Americans went through residential schools, were essentially tortured, have been spat on, etc. BLM DOES NOT CARE. So you in supporting BLM and not ALM means YOU DO NOT CARE.
And again natives don't call themselves people of color. Because they're not. Even they make that distinction. So you can't be native.
Nahhhh y’all are just dumb 💀💀 Aren’t you guys adults? Way older than me at that too. I feel like I’m speaking with children. I have no reason to carry on a conversation with those who refuse to listen and understand. I prefer having sophisticated conversations/arguments with those who actually know what they’re talking about. “Black Lives Matter” doesn’t mean that it’s the “only” life that matters. It’s ridiculous that you think that’s what it means. And don’t speak on behalf of Native Americans if you aren’t one ✋🏽 Acting like you know shit when you don’t.
Your opinion reflects of an immature child however. Violence does not solve anything and a racist is going to continue to be a racist. You should watch Law Abiding Citizen. It’s about how realistically corrupt the government is, and how people use evil to continue to corrupt the governmental system. It has NOTHING to do with innocent civilians. Riots only cause destruction of innocent lives /innocent people’s belongings/jobs
@upsettispaghetti - I grew up on a reserve. Speak Otchipwe. What's your tribe, sweetie? Lala Tribe?
"Black Lives Matter" thought it best to protest by burning down a predominantly black neighborhood, damaging and looting several black-owned and operated businesses, and committing hit and run style attacks on random citizens. Had they started lighting some crosses and lawns on fire, one would think that the klan was back.
Have not, do not, and will not ever support scum such as that.
I do but I don’t, I support the idea that Black Lives Matter, but the things the organization does I do not support, too many riots and burning neighborhoods.
I've been taught that terrosism is a bad thing since when I was small.
I won't change such a basic principle as I approach my 40 year of existence.
Its not terrorism its reporartions
no, i do not. BLM is a dangerous, racist ideological movement that uses peoples ignorance of social science to make people aggressive against each other and they particularly seem to have a personal agenda against the police. i will actually do by best to fight this movement with elucidation of social inequality, where it comes from and how we can "actually" try to fight it.
I supported them when all I watched was CNN and other trash. My friend showed me some conservative youtubers and I quickly change my mind. Liberal Hivemind, Mr. Obvious, and Memeology 101 are the ones are started watching first.
Oh you should definitely check out Tim Pool and his other channel TimcastIRL. He describes himself as a milk toast fence sitter who's a liberal when it comes to public issues but conservative when it comes to finances.
Jericho Greene is great but he's more brash.
Mark Dice is good but he's a little bit if a troll.
Jimmy Dore is a democrat but he's calling out the bullshit that the Biden administration is doing/ not doing what they promised.
Anthony Brian Logan is more serious but he's pretty accurate.
Salty Cracker is good but he's more of a shit talker. However he's on top of breaking stories and he provides evidence.
I get a lot of my news from YouTubers because our "news" medias are trash. That's just sad.
No.
Like feminism, in the core it's a good idea but it is butchered and now it's something different.
I have nothing against any race, gender or sexual preference. All are equally cool or strange.
don't think they're looking for equality or they'd have no problem with all lives matter they're after something more... like total control... not equality.
BLM don't care about black people. It's a for profit organisation that raised 90 million dollars last year and no account where the money went. We do know the leader bought million dollar houses tho.
To a point yes.
That point being that some people overdo it big time. As in not everything is racist.
For example I've seen people who got denied for some house, and immediately played the racist card, while that wasn't at all the real reason
Depends with who you asking.
Q. Why do so many white people deny the existence of white privilege? A. A satisfied man doesn't understand the feeling of a hungry man. African proverb.
Define white? Germanic, Slavic, Caucasian, Turkic, Scandinavian, Celtic, Latin?
It’s one of the worst movements in history...
Raciist
@wilsonboiiii that's not even racist... you don't even know if i'm white or black lol
@wilsonboiiii
Do you even know what the definition of Racism is?
@wilsonboiiii would you say that about a black person that doesn’t support BLM? I actually know quite a few that don’t support BLM
No why would I support a marxist terrorist group
