I must say I am growing tired of the lets bash America trend that has been popular lately. It's always this country or that country does this or does that better than the US. Well if they are so much better than why are people from all over the world wanting to come here? We both know the answer.

As far as native Americans are concerned, yep some of them got kinda screwed if you get down to it. But before we condemn the evil white man for taking over the land that is now the US of A lets take a step back and look at reality for a second.

The Native Americans were often fighting one another for territory and the dominant tribes had the most of it. The Comanches had been pushed out of the prime hunting grounds and it wasn't until they got horses from the Spanish that they became dominant. They killed off some and pushed others out. That's right indians killing indians.

So maybe it's time to study up on your history a bit.

They were often pretty hard on each other (there were lots of warrior cultures) before any Europeans ever showed up and in fact Native Americans often fought with whites against other Native Americans. Just a couple of the nuances that leftists try to keep from being mentioned. Of course they're descended from people that came to what became the Americas from Asia.

When the British came, as exiles, more of them joined the natives way of life than the reverse, and those who didn't frequently were hunted down into extinction.

After a while, the reverse happened.
