+1 yIt did, tonight!! From about dinner time onwards until midnight and even a few blasts after that. They were blasting big ones off two doors away and another guy at the bottom of the hill behind me was shooting of professional grade stuff right in front of me!!
Too bad the Brits aren't here to enjoy any of this! ;-)13 Reply- +1 y
I just heard another big one 10:00 ago at 3:15 a. m.!!

Sadly, except the ones that one guy was shooting off, I could barely see all the others 2 miles away because of all the trees on the hill behind the house! No matter where I sat, I couldn't see shit!!

+1 yYes it for sure does! Fuckin drives me crazy. I live in Hawaii and besides loving the ocean and salty foods they love ILLEGAL FIREWORKS the most. In a place that has heavily regulated imports to the islands, illegal fireworks is basically the guilty pleasure of most locals. There's always a lot of complaints. Especially on my island because mostly city and residential clumped in together. There's also an excessive amount of old people and babies so you have two demographics that tend to make a huge fuss over being scared and/or woken up. But it's also because despite the excessive amount of worthless ass cops on this island there still isn't enough to go around and enforce the fireworks laws. It becomes a firefighter issue if a fire breaks out.
00 ReplyNo.
The Socialist nanny state here in Australia banned fireworks half a century ago, because a couple of retards lit fuses and held large fireworks (known here as bungers) in their hands until the fireworks exploded. Fingers were removed.
So, because a few retarded children selected themselves for extinction, the entire population is deprived of something.01 Reply607 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It's not too bad yet, but yes, some of the neighbors have started testing out their fireworks.
11 Reply577 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yep, even though they're illegal in my town.
I'm not against fireworks, but the huge bombs that go off in the middle of the day or the middle of the night just about make me jump out of my skin.01 Reply- 578 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yNope, but I'm at a remote campsite, only accessible by canoe, miles from the nearest road. Nice and peaceful here.

+1 yOddly, while I was out this afternoon there were a lot of fireworks being set off and it was a bright sunny day. I find that a waste of perfectly good pyrotechnic display.

+1 yNope. If anyone where to set off any fireworks on the mountain here they likely would be lynched by the locals. Wildfires are a real concern here.
