so I read some John Donne poems and dude, he's so misogynistic!! But I quite agree with Wanda's view in Venus In Furs that beautiful women are often impulsive so I altered the statement a little.

Suppose... we view a beautiful woman as actually being like a wise Equestrian atop and in possession of... an impeccably-groomed young Filly. Pragmatically, this filly is aware of her precedence in the local hierarchy as is the Rider, and BOTH are aware that youth, subjective desirability, and the Filly's fertile years are FINITE. But there exists a paradox. While being 'faithful' to their chosen Stallion Stud accords that Stallion his peer's prestige; the sands of time, and potential time for breeding nevertheless continues to fritter away. HOW BEST to optimize the Filly's use of her fecundity... to negotiate the 'sale' of her potential fecundity in return for life experiences and genetic pairing?

Both the Filly and her Owner / Rider must FOREMOST look out for THEIR OWN best interests intuitively. It is a dynamic and time-sensitive assessment to decide the Filly & Rider's Ethos.

Reciprocally, the local Studs face a similar conundrum... how many "pretty young things" is the local Jock / Pretty Boy willing to forgo for reciprocal 'one & only' fidelity of that Filly?

Amid certain ethnic subcultures THIS is a perennial problem.
Human's natural inherited primate atavism 'lust' & 'desire' of their physical animal drives opportune copulation (your 'horse') but since the ultimate objective IS the survival-to-maturity of the engendered offspring, is favored by BOTH parent's commitment TO that agenda... precludes 'opportunism'~ No 'simple' answers but, Male custody single parenting while the birth mother remains alive, is comparatively unseen.

Actually I believe statistically its the exact opposite. Because a beautiful woman is of higher value she has greater options and thus is more likely to have a high quality man commit to her. Inversely an unattractive or average looking woman would mistake sexual interest as legitimate interest and thus would be more likely to cheat in order to feel more desirable then she truly is.

Though obviously personal character is and always will be the determining factor in whether or not some one cheats, men or women.

Beauty is as beauty does. A faithful woman is more beautiful than a good looking one. The Bible says that the Devil was unfaithful to God because his beauty made him arrogant and vain so that he stopped appreciating God. It is the same with a good looking but unfaithful woman.

It is deceptive, that, because the society keeps thinking (super) beautiful women have a huge array of options, but there are far fewer super handsome men than women - so most of the time they are lonely and not admitting it, and dating and marrying people beneath their league due to desperation (ending up single mothers because they promote sexuality, maybe even find a hunk, but in the process make him unfaithful).

@Exc3l they hardly ever get to be their beautiful selves - we promote this habit of fixating on goals when one could simply relax a lot more and in fact get their dues that way (super-focus makes people unapproachable, anti-social, even when you have something they need to give them)

Sadly love or sex from 1 person isn't everything. Todays gen have access to global attention whereby in the past you were limited to your town and so many restrictions making your partner your everything.

Iv seen people change partners like clothes for the dumbest reasons.. most common is they found a prettier, richer, smarter partner..
