The problem isn't so much about people saying 'gender is a social construct, therefore it's the same thing with race' but one with experience and culture and background that comes with it. This is directed to the arguments on Rachel Dolezals. You would let a white person who change their race to black, say the n-word, mock your culture and identity? Would you let a white person who was privileged before take advantage of the trend of being black when it comes with a long history of oppression and more? All the history and struggles down the drain because a white person wanted to be black just because she thought it was 'cute' and 'quirky' to be a black woman, disregarding that being black isn't just about the skin colour. The same can be said with Oli London.

I'm posting this underneath this question because I feel like this is something important to realize. I wanted to post this under a question from @MCheetah, but for some reason, I don't know why, he blocked me.

Quite frankly its an entirely imagined thing and if someone imagines themselves being a different imagined thing then I dont have energy or care to argue about it. If anything, having people sort themselves into imagined groups would help define what those groups are and make them slightly more legitimate.

Point being, Religion. Chances are pretty high that if you are born into a religious family and stay with that religious name then you are probably correctly described as of that religion. Otherwise you would probably have changed and called yourself something else.
