Right now, it’s liberals. Conservatives are generally shit when it comes to anything except money, which is whatever at this point. The only right of mine they seek to remove is my right of bodily autonomy and reproductive choice. I expect that of them and They make no effort to hide that fact.


But liberals are amazing me at this point. They want to regulate everything and their goddamn mother, which is to be expected but is still excessive. But coupled with the fact they want fewer police, and want less legal right to protect myself, puts me at great risk. Coupled with the fact that some hardliners want abortion to be made wholly illegal in order to try and get more women to vote for them, disgusts me to no end. And if you don’t believe me, ask oddbeme. He literally admits this, as a liberal, because his own party isn’t motivated enough.


So to me, liberals annoy me more and are a bigger threat to the American people. And that’s saying something, considering trump tea baggers literally tried to overthrow the government.

Conservatives. They lie too much. It's impossible to believe any criticism of liberals because it might be coming from a conservative, who lies. But liberals need to be criticized or they tend to run to idealism over pragmatism. k

The problem is all conservativism really is is the belief that the rich shouldn't have to pay their employees or taxes. Obviously no one is going to go for this so they absolutely can't be honest about it. And once they have resolved to lie to stay in power there's not really a limit or moral argument against any particular lie they might tell. Its all a show. The "both sides" narrative is just one of the lies conservatives tell. The idea that everything is being called racist is just one of the lies conservatives tell. The idea that liberals want government to control everything is just one of the lies that conservatives tell...

These people are limited by what works. Not what is right or wrong. And it annoys me that people are so eager to be tricked by them. But it's a democracy and priorities require representation just as much as ideas do. The sad fact is conservatives have been tricked in to prioritizing their fake grievance culture over effective policy. That priority requires representation even if it's a scam.

Recently it's liberals, with their bullying cancel culture and "woke" nonsense. One issue I currently have with conservatives is their lack of support for national infrastructure (REAL infrastructure, not the liberals "woke" version of infrastructure... people are NOT infrastructure). We need new roads, bridges, tunnels, dams, airports, and schools, yet we're focused on diversity training. It's difficult enough to get conservatives to agree to spend money on infrastructure without liberals changing the definition of infrastructure. Diversity isn't going to matter much if we can't go anywhere or do anything.

The vast majority of conservatives (myself included) disdained the January 6th Capitol Hill riots as asinine, evil and embarrassing. I have yet to hear one Republican politician support or act as an apologist for that crap.

However the BLM riots took the lives of over 30 people, caused over 2 billion dollars in damage and destroyed countless businesses (including black owned small businesses). Yet almost the entire Democratic Party got behind BLM along with social media, Hollywood, major league sports and major corporations.

Explain to me the logic of all of that?

Liberals. And I have progressive values. I used to consider myself to be strongly liberal until the Democratic party embraced neoliberalism and many so-called liberals continued to be loyal Democrats, not realizing that the Democratic party is anything but liberal.
