The whole reason the taxpayers pay for Gov't food cards (aka food stamps ) is to feed them and their kids. There is no reason to provide free school breakfast or lunches. This is abuse of the system. If they are buying steak or Caviar instead of regular groceries something needs to be done. Apparently , they are buying food for themselves and screwing their own kids. I think these cases should be investigated and kids taken away from these people.

How do you know that people that receive food stamps are the people with children that need free breakfast and lunch? You don't. You never know whats going on with a child and their home life. Free breakfast and lunch SHOULD be offered regardless of what benefits their parents get. Stop inviting me to these questions
The parents spend money on drugs or booze and don't care about the kids. Some of these kids get taken away because of it. I'm also thinking some parents do this on purpose so they can get rid of their kids. Too many tards are killing their own children these days.
There usually isn't that kind of discipline there to ensure they will take their lunches to school, so it's better that some somewhat healthy food is available to them at school rather than candy.

Well, this aspect of it is different- note that school lunches are there for everyone, including children who pay for them. They often don't have the discipline to bring their own healthy lunch to school, so it's not just linked to poverty.
You do have a point about the nanny state, but nutrition for kids is important- they'll gladly eat candy all day if you let them.
There is enough on cards to cover breakfast and to let them take a lunch in. It is losers wanting everything provided for them, but they could cover these meals.
You should be asking what's wrong with the economy that people need food stamps to live. If the state mandates education the least they can do is feed your kids when they attend.

I agree reforming poor neighborhoods and the cycle of poverty is a must. But taking benefits from starving families ain’t it. Even if the parents need alcohol to get through the day.
Tbh we need to invest into giving black and other minority children more opportunities to find good education and employment, free/tuition free college/university would help with this a lot. I agree we shouldn't have them on benefits, but this is a problem created by our forefathers who decided to free the slaves but give them nothing and nowehere to go. With that said, we also need to change our perceptions of these people, if we treat them like criminals and monsters then they will be less likely to accept out help and less likely to want to be a part of our society, which is what's causing so much division and riots. Taking away benefits and giving nothing will just create more poverty and crime, we need a real solution that works for everyone.
@devilman666 They go to same schools white kids do. Hear the same teachers the white kids do. You can't have 5 babies by 5 different women , that is one big problem. They need a high paying job to pay for 5 kids. They also can't look at work like it is in the streets. You can lead a horse to water but can't make a horse drink it. That is the problem.
