No, but I think it does present enough danger for people to be refused services or travel. If your work requires physical interactions with other people, it probably should be required for you to get vaccinated.

Here in America, nope. As the pro abortion crowd would say "my body. My choice".
The sooner the world accepts that covid isn't going away, and we will always be chasing it as it evolves, the better we will be.

If over half a million people died because of their response to an infection, doesn't that suggest they were killed by the infection itself?

Or is America's healthcare system just THAT shitty?

Smoking doesn't have a 100% fatality rate child.

And do you really think that just because your chances of infection are minimal, that you're immune to the virus?

According to the CDC smoking cigarettes has a fatality rate OVER %100 (because second hand smoke kills kids) and kills one in 5 Americans.

It's common sense that smoking for long enough absolutely will kill you. If you don't believe that, you are delusional.

I never said either of those things. I said that if I get Covid, there is a negligible chance of death or serious harm, because I am young and healthy.

But you are correct that the chance of me even getting infected is minimal. That's another great point. 😉

Imagine bringing up profile stats as an attempt at discrediting someone. 😂😂😂😂 Especially knowing you don't act your age and fame literally means nothing on here.

And if smoking cigarettes has a 100% death rate, then the very second somebody starts smoking, they should be in a hospital bed dying. Think about that really hard before you comment.

      PS, my question was

Do you really think that just because your chances of infection are minimal that you're immune to the virus?

      Your key word is IMMUNE.

      Reply
    • Lost_in_the_Woods

No. I don't think I am immune. But I think my immune system is more than strong enough to develop immunity well before the virus does me any serious harm. I think the risk of harm is negligible. I don't think I was immune and never did.

And, to your other point, COVID doesn't ever show symptoms for two week. Cancer takes months or years and HIV can take decades. If you trust the CDC about covid why don't you trust them about cigarettes?

JFK took a bullet to the brain and even he didn't die in a second. It takes a few minutes to blead out from a stab wound. Even the black plague took weeks or months to kill people.

You seem to be extremely confused on that point.

Also, you are the one stooping to baseless personal attacks, so you probably don't want to start throwing the maturity stones at your own reflection. I simply pointed out that the vast majority of people don't agree with you or find your responses to be helpful. It wasn't an effort to discredit you, more an effort to motivate meaningful self reflection.

When you find that you are outnumbered and saying things that don't even make sense to support your goal without any meaningful evidence, its usually a good time to sit down and ask yourself why you are doing it, and if you really have the right goals to begin with.

But that is something that people usually experience and develop in their early 20's so, give yourself a few years and you'll probably work it out all by yourself. 🤙

I trust the CDC on cigarettes. I just don't trust any word you have to say about it because you're deluded. Oh yeah, did you hear about the delta variant? It's more contagious, and the infection rate is significantly higher. The pandemic is mutating, which nullifies any "fact" you say.

And you're the only one using personal attacks bringing up my profile.

Get vaccinated child, and stop acting like a vaccine of all things is gonna kill you. You're killing the rest of us. That I definitely struggle with. 😂

It should be a crime for someone who has refused the vaccine to ask the strained health care system to treat them if they catch it.

Then you have nothing to fear from the unvaccinated.

Vaccines work. But the Covid mRNA vaccines don't.

Click the links. The guy with the beard is the man who invented mRNA. It's not a conspiracy. He is a professional scientist.

He is The professional scientist who invented the technology we are talking about.

You don't know more about it than he does. You just listen to propaganda instead of primary sources and genuine experts.

If the Native Americans listened to the United States government without using their own brains they wouldn't still be around at all.

Should refusal of treatment be a crime? Cause that's really the question you're asking. Should you be allowed to decide when it comes to your health or not?

You should be able to choose if to get the vaccine, while organizations shall be able to impose restrictions to those who don't get it.

Nope. Drunk driving is a conscious active choice, so is firing into a crowd.
Not vaccinating is a refusal of something done to your body against your will.

So it's best that we all wear hazmat suits, 20 masks and stay inside 24/7!
