Why isn’t lynching a federal crime yet?

It's not a useful piece of legislation as it's already a federal crime to assault or murder someone and it could also be considered a hate crime. When a mob is trying to lynch someone, every last person participating will get federal charges, at least, they're supposed to. But because y'all would rather vote blue because the fact that Republicans just straight up run the country better hurts your feelings, now you have activist judges and corrupted federal agencies who refuse to go forward with those charges. So good job

Gets lump with murder for the more prominent individuals. So the mobs cheering on, it's gonna be basically impossible to convict a murder case beyond a reasonable just cheering.

I get what you are saying but lynching is going to be the motivation of the murder then a crime itself. There are lesser crimes being complacent or an accomplice individual of the crime of a muder.
