I believe being anti-mask is worse. If you don't believe in the vaccine and choose to take your chances with the virus, go ahead. As long as you take the measures (wearing a mask) to ensure you do not put other people in danger (because you decided to take your chances), you can be as anti-vaccine as you want.

What is wrong and should be punished are those people who refuse to wear masks, exposing others to the virus if they have it. One could argue it's a form of murder.

An anti-vaxxer can reject the vaccine while still believing that there is a dangerous virus plaguing the world. An anti-masker is an ignorant, entitled person who has convinced themselves that there is no virus, and wants to force their belief and the potentially fatal consequences on others. I can only imagine how many people have died because of anti-maskers. Anti-vaxxers at least only take responsibility for their own possible deaths.

The thing about viruses is that adapt incredibly fast so you have to get rid of it quick or else it'll just circumvent anything your immune system adapted to. This one is especially tricky as the mutation rate is too rapid, there are probably thousands of different tens of thousands right now, but only a handful will be truly effective.
The reason it was so hard to get rid of the Spanish flu was quite akine to this one, although that one was deadlier, the same could be said about small pox too. Vaccines do work, no one claims else wise, but it only works if you have not been infected by the particular virus beforehand. It doesn't use magic. But it's all too recent for this one to work properly, we are quite aware that there can be side-effects but that is true of most vaccines, although this one seems more common because of the sheer scale. The issue I have with this vaccine are numerous, it's rushed, actual trials seems lackluster and how it went past the approval of health agencies is quite frankly disturbing, the mortality rate of this virus isn't even 0,05% and that's for very old people and for some reason it seems to be different depending on the race of people too. This isn't a conspiracy theory, this is just doubt in the approval system and effectiveness of the solution we're getting. If we believed in everything we'd be doing cocaine right now as a health benefit. Be in doubt of everything, science takes years to hundreds of years, using the method we have not achieved any conclusive evidence.

N95 masks help curtail the spread of the larger droplets of Covid, but don't do anything when it comes to blocking tiny aerosol particulates, which can also contain Covid. The N95 is a NIOSH/OSHA rating, not a medical rating. That means an N95 mask will block 95% of vapors and particulates larger than 0.3 microns per cubic centimeter. Covid can be airborne in vapor and particulates smaller than 0.3 microns. That means an N95 masks will block 0% of the vapors and particulates smaller than 0.3 microns. So wearing an N95 mask does help to a certain extent, but the messaging and information has been very vague. We really should all be wearing masks like this:

This is a half-face respirator with Magenta-Black HEPA filters that block at least 99.97% of all vapors and particulates larger than 0.3 microns. I use this mask on abatement jobs, and you need to be clean shaven so the silicone in the mask makes a proper fit with your face (it's been a while since I've been on an abatement job, hence the beard).
