People have different notions of what is true. There are people who are well-read and can support their position with real data. Then there are people who have never picked up a book but believe something they saw on Faux news or OAN or YouTube. I don't waste time on them.

I don't hate them, but they can be exhausting. My ex was that guy. He would say he hoped I knew I could talk to him about anything, but if it pertained to us, he'd react like I was attacking him.

Yeah, I get frustrated with people like that. Especially folks who use their insecurity to garner validation on social media. Everything is always a crisis, nothing is their fault, nothing ever changes.
