@Asker, Vaccines aren't 100 percent effective. No vaccine on Earth is, yet they make a huge difference.
Can you educate yourself before looking stupid? Turns out most people who are against the vaccine don't have a basic understanding of vaccines to even know what they're talking about
I would still avoid someone if they've not been vaccinated because although I have a much lower chance of getting covid than someone who isn't vaccinated, there's still a very small chance I will get it, especially with someone who hasn't been vaccinated.
If everyone gets vaccinated, cases of covid will be lower overtime and covid as a whole will become way less common. It will become a rare virus. Thats the point of a vaccine.
You idiots really seem to believe that vaccines claim to protect you from covid at all costs and think you're smart when you hear someone that has been vaccinated has covid. Jokes on you, I'm afraid.

I do read the Bible. I believe (when interpreted correctly) science is a deeper study of Gods universal mysteries. It is not sinful nor secular to develop and invent advances in medical science to save lives. It can even be interpreted as doing God’s work because he gave people intelligence to mitigate suffering in this world.
Also remember that the devil tempted Jesus by taking him to a high up cliff and telling him to jump off of it because the angels would catch him. Jesus responded that “it is also written that you should not test the Lord”.
A guy your age is most likely going to be fine. But I met a 74 year old Uber driver who had the same attitude about vaccines. If his faith protects him so be it. But don’t test God with fate. Covid is real and the vaccine is real. Do the smart thing and get vaccinated if you are vulnerable. People who are refusing are literally playing Russian roulette.

I disagreed with him saying the vaccine is fake but I believe the Bible is real. I know he unfortunately fits the stereotype of religious people being anti science but I’m not and most Christians I know aren’t either.
Anyway I expect some sort of defiant and bitchy response to that. But you really just digging yourself in a hole acting that way.

Oh man this is really embarrassing. You are giving all the antitheists exactly what they want.
Please man don’t get caught up in this twisted doctrine. Nowhere is it written in scripture to defy the earth’s natural laws just for the sake of doing so. Yes calmed the winds, walked on water and performed incredible miracles. But he is God who both makes the rules and bends them. He didn’t do that just to entertain people (and he condemned those who demanded it) but to bring people closer in faith.
But still I’m not going to jump off a cliff and dare God to save me. Don’t test him. I only call for miracles when I exhausted all my other options. If it were that simple I would just ask God to make us all superior beings who never get tired, hungry, thirsty, use the bathroom nor feel depression, sadness or heartbreak.
