Girls, what do you think of guys that write poetry?

do you think they are weak and emotional or do you find it kind of interesting?

I write my girlfriend poetry and she loves it so I do it every week for her! She thinks it actually makes me stronger that I am man enough to ignore what others would think if they found out I did. I would still do it because they make her happy and it's the only reason she does it. One of them I gave her she kept in her pocket (one I wrote and give her, I usually text them on the days I'm at work so we can't see each other) for a few weeks after! I would write it down but I am hoping to get it published one day :D I am hoping to get a lot of them published.

I archive them all and am gonna write them in a little book and give it to her for christmas (she's going away for a week at christmas :( but I'm gonna give the book to her mum and say she can't open it til christmas lol) and I'm about to ask about christmas presents lol I know it's early.

I write poetry. I met a girl who is an amazingly gifted poet, she inspired me to give it a go. I can write really well but only about her. I don't have the passion for poetry that she does but I have a passion for her that I can express well through poetry.

And I don't care what anyone else thinks of me writing it either ;)

I think its pretty darn well awesome, 4 of my ex boyfriends did write poetry, all good and sweet and romantic ones too, I acutally nearly cryed with one or two of them because it was so sweet and came from there heart, but then they did send a few when they broke up with me and putting the blame on me.anyways guys who write poetry doesn't mean there weak, I think its very strong of them to do it.

some of the most amazing poetry I've ever read came from guys. it doesn't have to be sappy and lovey-dovey to be a great poem, it's just like writing a story, you have to write it in a way that the reader can feel the emotion in it, be it love, pain or anger.

i love a man with talent. it makes them unique, in a good way.

I write poetry myself so when I find a guy that does I find it interesting... when people write poetry they have ways of manipulating words and images that no one else thought about and no one else could imagine doing... it really shows there true self...

personally I think it's cool. and sweet. I would love for a guy to write me a poem. it shows they have an emotion and sweet side. just as long as you ain't like in the movies all mellow and hit those drums lol just saying
