I'm a poet and I was wondering if I should tell the girls i talk to about it because I don't know if they will think it is nerdy and weird or hot?

I am writer. And although I don't write poetry I do enjoy reading it. This morning for example a friend wrote me a poem about myself as he was inspired to do so and I loved it. So for me personally I appreciate any guy who is skilled with words in such a way.

I like poetry, and poets are usually hot, yes. But I do find very personal poems awkward unless we know each other well already. Like if you write poems about nature or the stars, that's beautiful. I love words and art. But I don't want to hear a poem about trust issues or a traumatic experience on the 3rd date, right? Save those for later in the relationship.
