Why do pro choice women use the "abortion is normal" argument?

So what you are pretty much saying is that since abortion is very common that makes it ok? Ok well sexual assault is very common so does that make sexual assault ok? No. Of course it doesn't. So why use the argument that since this certain thing is happening regularly that means that it is ok? It's a dumb argument.

The point is in many cases abortions become a consideration as a result of people not taking proper precautions or at least not effectively.

People make mistakes. People cheated. People wants to harm the other person. The reasons are plenty. Not just a safe sex issue.

Also, unless you get the vasectomy (male sterilization) most of the other options aren't entirely safe. Plus that doesn't stop the woman from getting pregnant when she cheated.

In that sense, you are correct that’s a fallacy. But the ultimate issue in abortion, vaccinations etc is bodily autonomy. We should have absolute rights over our bodies. No one can demand we donate blood or a kidney, or tell us not to abort.

I wish we could philosophically force vaccinations, but I know it’d be wrong.

If a woman does not want to get pregnant and have a kid, she needs to practice what other women preach.
