23.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yes, it did seem to intensify after the 2016 election. Being in power is the only thing important to the democrats. Even if they have to destroy this country to do it. To them it will be worth it. The res of us have to pick up the pieces.
In 7 months Biden has done more damage to the US than the Axis Powers did in WW2.41 Reply

+1 yIt did become elevated when Trump ran for president. Democrat leaders are became threatened with Trump saying he was going to drain the swamp. And when he was elected that's exactly what he started to do. So in order to regain their power they needed to make him out to be a racist and sexist. And the mainstream media went along with that narrative which over powered all the good things he was doing for our country.
Funny thing is most people liked Trump until he ran for president. But once he did and by the time the dems and press got done with him people really believed everything they were saying. They keep their power and money when they keep us divided whether it's by race or political beliefs.40 Reply 5.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I agree that the Democrats turned up the hate and divisiveness level to 11.
They actually demonize people who don't support them. Since 2015, they have adopted a scorched earth policy of winning by any means at all costs.
The average moron who consumes msm (the NYT, WaPo, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, etc.), and thinks that the Democratic party represents liberalism, falls for the propaganda. They have become wild-eyed zealots.
There is so much divisiveness that one barely knows where to begin.
In the end, it has nothing to do with ideology or good versus bad. It's about power and control, which are ultimately about money. The Democrats are tearing this country apart in an effort to gain full political dominance. It's all for personal gain and not for the benefit of the USA.30 ReplyNone of this is genuine. The left wanted Trump to be impeached before he ever took office. The establishment hates that Trump didn't play their game, so he had to go. If that meant condoning riots for four years, so be it. Now look who they chose to lead the world.

+1 yIt goes back further than that- remember all the hate Obama got, before he even took office? I remember laughing with people over the absurdity of it in 2007- people who saw absolutely nothing funny about the absurdity of it when it Trump on the receiving end nine years later.
It's probably rooted in something older still, but that's when I first noticed it.10 Reply - 7.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yIt MIGHT be genuine but it's CERTAINLY unfounded!! Whats there to hate? The guy did his job for free, lowered prices across the board, got jobs for MILLIONS of people, started doing his job THE DAY HE WON THE ELECTION instead of waiting 2 months and, among lots of other great stuff, was about to hand us world peace on a silver platter!!
Q: What do hate about him so much?
A: He has orange skin!!
Even though that's bullshit, I thought we weren't supposed to make fun of people with different coloured skin!!!
The reason they still attack him is probably because they don't feel it's right to make fun of the mentally deranged, people like Joe Biden.00 Reply
+1 yI think it’s from people like you that only started paying attention to politics when trump came into office. There’s been hate from both sides for decades because politics were made to divide. It’s not ironic that almost every single controversial topic, they are opposites about

Do you have a crystal ball and suddenly you think you know all about me. You are way off base with your answer. For one thing, I am not a hater! Did you look to see how old I am? This wasn't my first time following politics. I was following politics when you were in diapers! You didn't even answer my question. Pay attention!

67 years old and you are still trying to stir the pot on social media. Why is it you adults claim the younger generation is bad when you guys are just as guilty? Ridiculous. You aren’t a hater? You just distributed hate based on one side only. And just so you know, I’m not a democrat. If you can’t come to terms that hate has been on both sides for decades, you sure as hell have not been paying attention to politics for all those years. You are a product of exactly why hate has been spewed, because you only came to terms with that AFTER trump got into office

“I am a know it all about everything “ no dear you are just another person that contributes to hate and blame the other side for your on going hate. Sad news that you are almost 70 and get a rise out of stirring the pot. Go focus on retirement. This is so sad

No, it has never been this bad. Even during the Vietnam Era that I can barely remember there was more bi-partisanship in politics. Tip O'Neil and Ronald Reagan worked together on many levels. The democrats impeached President Trump twice while he was in office and tried an unconstitutional attempt after he was out of office. Now instead of addressing the myriad of problems that they creates, the southern border fiasco, the Afghanistan fiasco, Covid, inflation and high energy costs are crippling this country and they put most of their attention on chasing the protesters from Jan 6th.

@exitseven politics are literally set up so there’s hate coming from both sides, I think she’s wrong for only assuming democrats are the only hateful side. This post is based on a republican being hateful

I think the issue is, the media. The media hyped up this election and the 2016 election a whole ton.
Oh, it’s genuine hate, I disowned my leftist parents in 2007, haven’t spoken to them since then.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yThe left thrives on dividing the country in order to get votes. They hold complete accountability for any "Civil War" that develops. They lie cheat and steal without compunction and they frequently do the same things that Marxists do. E. g. a very common Marxist tactic is to accuse your enemy or rival of doing something that you are actually doing. It is a psychological tactic that works very well as far as deceiving the public.

+1 yI hated the government way before that! The word your looking for is Vitriolic, its latin for against life, as in vitriolic rhetoric. We just have more of that now because the media is trying harder than ever to make all us regular people hate each other so we don't jojn together and kill every corrupt asshole in our government and corporations. They're really scared that could happen any day!
00 Reply11.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. What hate, exactly?
The Retardicans have few redeeming qualities and even less competence. Sure it's not nice to tease the mentally disabled, but you can't let the right, take charge of the asylum either.02 Reply- +1 y
It's Laughable you can say that with how your Democratic president has messed up our country and other countries and it hasn't even been a year. Your president gets lost which any speech that's more than 2 mins. He has to have questions ahead of time in order to answer them. Lol! You use mental incompetence as a put down but your president really is mentally incompetent. He's a puppet for the radical left. Your democrats caused an inflated economy that's not temporary like Biden tries to say. And it's not surprising. The last time our economy was so bade was during the obama/Biden administration.
I know you'll never admit how financially better off we were during the Trump administration. Unless you lost your job do to the pandemic. But no president could help that. It's bidens America now and people are still dying and struggling much more. - +1 y
@PinkMichae you misunderstood my question. I am NOT for Biden. He screws up everything he puts his hands in.
2.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Trump's election was just the peak of these psychopaths. They couldn't accept that they lost and went full psycho, showing the world their true face.
30 Reply7.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I've noticed it a little before that. Like around 2014 when the social justice warriors were just entering the stage and made politics massively more of a cringefest.
