Wonder how many anti-feminists here in America would say that's a bigger travesty than the treatment of women across Afghanistan.

If it's the only safe place for them to survive without being harassed or assaulted, then it's a first step. But how long can they live such a life. When the children get older where will they go? What is their future 10 to 20 years from now going to be like? What can they teach them to become productive adults?
I hope this works for them in the interim, but it can't last forever.

Do you remember the bear grills survivor Island s2 where the men and women were separated and the women were unable to survive while the men created paradise for themselves.
Listening to a BBC news reporter talking about an Afghanistan female teacher she had a conversation. Apperently the teacher was happy when the taliban got kicked our 20 years ago but instead of throwing the burka out she knew the taliban would be back so just put it back into her closet.

Women in Afghanistan should start a "women's only" commune in a remote part of the Afghani mountains IF they can get the support of good men to help them with the needs they cannot handle by themselves. A bunch of women in a remote mountainous area of Afghanistan would not last long on their own.
