What are your thoughts on the denial of educational rights to women in Afghanistan? What should a country do to avoid becoming Afghanistan?

In Afghanistan:

- Women are forbidden from speaking loudly.

-Men are allowed to beat their wives as long as they don't break their bones.

-Women are forbidden from singing and reciting poetry.

- It is forbidden to have windows in rooms where women are present.

Yeah, but it's what a country has to do when it is that poor, and got fucked over by the USA as well.

They can either have poor education all round, or adequate education for people likely to succeed. By reducing the budget for girls only education they leave a little more for the outward working.

The USA basically robbed and ruined the infrastructure when it was illegally occupying the country, By concentrating on males it will be able to produce civil engineers and contractors able to do a lot of the rebuilding.

There is no law or provision against private education. So girls who want to study in private schools, still can.

How to avoid becoming Afghanistan?
1) Don't be a stupid patriarchy
2) Don't have a state sanctioned religion OF ANY KIND, led by extremists, running your government or lives. That includes "Christianity" for all you nationalists in the USA.
3) Realize that educating people with the truth builds the strongest and smartest. society, and that people are your primary REsource, not slave source.
4) Put people over profit 100% of the time.
5) Never treat women like 2nd class citizens or slaves.

It takes money, government, and culture, to fix these legal loopholes that allow people to oppress or abuse each other. The country was actually progressing quite well, but you can't help people who don't want to help themselves. The country is a lost cause. Sucks for them, but we have our own issues at home. Historically no difference, presently you'll find Christianity isn't as extreme and more willingly conceding to progressive society.

We need to combat religious extremism all over the world. There are currently ultra-radical Christians who want to recreate a modern-day version of the era when the Inquisition courts existed. In Europe and the US, ultra-conservative politicians have begun winning elections. This is how everything starts. Extremely religious groups cannot overthrow the secular system overnight. They progress step by step. The rise to power of ultra-conservative politicians is the first step in this direction.
