What do you think of France forcing medical professionals to get vaccinated or lose their job?

That's a GREAT idea- solve your staff shortages by mass firings! Risk your ENTIRE medical profession by having them take untested gene therapies with unknown long term effects! Then you can solve hunger by taking people's food away!

It's been less than fifty years; the odds are REAL good that they still have at least a couple functioning guillotines lying around in storage. You'd think the leaders of France, of all places, would remember that.

Being a doctor isn't like being a waiter; you need a LOT of training and schooling to get there- a lot of training and schooling that will convince you that taking a rushed DRUG is a bad idea, let alone a gene therapy. Unless you're recruiting from the ranks of WITCH doctors, you're sacrificing a giant portion of your potential employees. You can't get blood from a stone.

RIGHT, because it's still 1956, and nobody knows that mRNA can be absorbed into human cells and transcribed, or that reverse transcriptase exists. This is basic high school biology, man. It's the textbook definition of "gene therapy".

COVID-19 vaccines do not change or interact with your DNA in any way. Both mRNA and viral vector COVID-19 vaccines deliver instructions (genetic material) to our cells to start building protection against the virus that causes COVID-19. However, the material never enters the nucleus of the cell, which is where our DNA is kept.

As for the U. S., Biden mandated vaccinations for all Federal employees. Folks who don't like it can just find another job.

The will lose a very small amount of their staff. Vast majority of them are vaccinated.

What’s the current propaganda statistic at the moment, 27% unvacinated? You really have no clue how understaffed hospitals typically are. For example pretty much all hospitals are understaffed on nurses currently. They pay nurses huge hourly bonuses in comparison to their normal salary at the moment. If you go to any top 10 hospital in a state you might have something like 41 ICU beds in the hospital that are fully equipped, but only 2 will be fully staffed at any given time, thus they can’t take new patients and they really try to push people out the door as quickly as possible. Even with those bonuses, most ICU beds stay vacant because there are not enough nursing staff to man them. If you threaten 27% of your nurses the hospital might as well just shut it’s doors.

Having 4 sisters, 3 doctors and one nurse I know very well that hospitals are understaffed in some professional areas. Nursing for example like you said. But there are also many unemployed nurses that can very easy get a job to replace the unvaccinated ones fired. Even easier with the add incentives in money.
Also I don't know how it is there in the US but here many medical professionals were hired as an extra help under temporary contracts to make sure no bed is left unattended.
So the French can do this all they want. They will easy replace the ones who leave. Do you really think they would be stupid enough to do this if they didn't knew they could?

Bureaucrats typically bluff to put pressure on groups of people, and then fold when reality sets in. So yes, I think they are stupid enough to bluff. I think their words are hollow.

Just like the UK forcing it on Care Workers. The deadline was yesterday and some folks are choosing to lose their jobs over it. Seems the Western world is becoming a state run dictatorship like North Korea

Yeah but the clients have all be vaccinated. So it seems like a belt and bracers approach. And there's already a shortage of care workers, so it's likely that less qualified and conscientious workers will be employed in that sector

Yes they will have to hire less experienced workers. Lucky for them not many are non vaccinated or they would seriously risk their services.

Having the vaccine helps prevent you passing and getting the virus, but it is not 100% effective. So they want all vaccinated even around vaccinated clients.
