The line about fathers not stepping up is well overused.
Seeing this play out many times in my own life, it is why I am not married and have no children. The family court system destroys men.
The proof in this is, for the 22 veterans who kill themselves every day, 90% have had contact with the family court system.
It's largely due being denied access to thier children who they love dearly, but having a court order mandateing that they pay massive amounts of money to the mother that she will then only use a fraction of on the children.
As well add to the fact that most cases of domestic sexual and physical abuse involving a child happen at the hands of a step parent or by the child of a step parent.
Yet there is a financial incentive for a woman to enter into this situation. 🤔
