No more then white people are acting white
I remember watching a movie I think it was called little big league. Anyways when this kids grandpa died he inherited the Minnesota Twins. And there was this locker room scene where just the players were talking about the new owner being a kid. And to denote the players being a fumb jock. While the other players had essentially said they'd be the laughingstock of the league being run by a 12 year old kid. He pipes up and said there are some really smart 12 year Olds. He said "I played winter ball down in South America and you amazed that they have the kids down there speaking Spanish already". It gets silent and the team captain says " they speak Spanish down there". Undeterred the player says " I know that's what I'm saying".
OK. It's not the funniest scene. But all I'm saying is if someone only knows ghetto slang they're going to speak like they're ignorant.
Now some may go back to the hood and turn it back on. I believe they'd be acting ghetto then.

Is this about me? LOL! Cause I've had plenty of people, mostly black women, accuse me of "acting white" or being an Uncle Tom. I don't care what they, or any stupid people think, but it's happened more than a dozen times, at least. I'm surprised only three people actually said "yes" to this. But obviously, my answer is "no." Being educated isn't a "whites only" trait.

I want @friendlydrugdealer to weigh in on this, too.

Charles Payne (black guy on FOX news) said that when he was a kid, he really wanted a briefcase, because it would help him be more successful in business. His mom could only afford a cheap plastic one, but he was happy with it. He said he had to run to and from school, because the other black kids would beat the crap out of him for "acting white." They wanted him to be hood rats like them, but he didn't want any part of world. Now he's worth around 10 million bucks.

The whole narrative of it being “white” for speaking educated and properly is wild and absolutely ridiculous. It’s not about race , it’s about mindset and education.

I would say up until I was an adult and people were going to college, people used to criticize me for speaking “white”. I never had any snobby or pretentious behavior which is what made it even more confusing. I came from parents who are intelligent and taught us to value your education because it opens the door to more opportunities in life. The more we try to limit ourselves mentally the smaller the world appears, if you expand your mind, the bigger the world appears and you learn that there’s still a massive amount information we don’t know.

Black people who succeed in education and climb the corporate and academic ladders prove that they do not need the Democratic Party to ‘help’ them and it upsets The Intersectional/Identitarian Mobs victim culture narrative and proves with hard wok any may succeed on merit alone without having an ‘Equality of Outcome’ that they always want.
