A social construct is something that exists not in objective reality, but as a result of human interaction. It exists because humans agree that it exists. Yet if my race was different i would factually have different traits according to that race? Therefore it exists even without humans.
What we call race is merely an observation of something that already exists. Not something we made up. Cause i repeat once again if it was something we made up, that means if my race was just today changed to be a guy from Egypt i would have 0 differences to how i am now, but no 100% i factually would.

When it comes to definition of words it don't really matter to make a big deal out of that. Because at the end of the day, any word you know now could mean anything else in the future or history. The word biology it's self could mean something 100% different.
So just saying something meant this in the past don't really mean anything to me. It's still an objective fact that people have biological differences due to were there born and their ancestors and other facts. Then humans merely observed it in modern age and called people from different races due to this. The facts which race was founded in this age hasn't changed. People are still biologically different according to these facts. And race as a word will remain to stay like this, Until are whole society don't think this no more.

For example there are drugs that work for certain ethnic groups but not others, disease more prevalent in ethnic groups and not others because ethnic groups are biological. Race is about biological traits 1:04. Ethnic group is about cultural heritage: 2:30. It is obvious that our customs are not part of DNA. So this means the example with hospital is all flawed.

It seems an ancestry research is better way to go in the field of medical treatment. There is however a lot of confusion between race, ethnic group definitions on various sites.
Yeah it is better for medicine to be more specific to the actual cultural background cause that makes a lot of difference there is major differences within even just a tiny bit of culture difference in that regard. my father came from an Irish family with 11 brothers and sisters.
that was a social norm back then families of over 5 were common as not all survived childhood.

The same with say Indian families in the UK, large number of aunts and uncles from previously high number with grandparents, now however it’s common to see most Indian couples with 2 kids.

As various social groups within countries adapt to their ‘new’ home, their kids will also adjust and part of this is likely a reduction in family sizes.

Well I have family that’s part white and part black and some family that’s part white and part Asian and some that’s part white and part Hispanic and guess what they’re just as much white as they are black Asian and Hispanic. So if they’re not white then they’re not black Asian or Hispanic. So by this pattern it’s going to be the others that are going to be the majority and I see it as a good thing because if everyone is a mix of everyone then it should solve a big portion of the racism’s. The problem with this is it seems humans have to hate someone so is it going to be your height or weight or shade of brown or maybe it’s gonna be how you dress or how you wear your hair. Hell I’m sure we’re gonna go extinct before all that anyways if we don’t kill each other off with nukes or germ warfare it’s gonna be global warming or an asteroid but like I said not in my lifetime
They were the majority in the US for a long time so now they feel a little weird about things changing and I guess that's kind of natural because not everyone likes changes but you know that's just how this entire continent in general has been for centuries, it has experienced many changes and this time it will be a change for the US again. White people have gone through slavery (white slavers in Africa, roman empire, etc) , their lands have been stolen (european history is full of wars and lands being stolen) , they have caught diseases by other ethnicities (the black death came from asia), their land has been completely wrecked by other countries (again european history is full of wars and death), they have been put into poverty (lookup french revolution or feudalism) , their children have been forcefully taken from them (roman slavery did that).

You know where the word slave comes from? It comes from slav. Slavs have white skin. Stolen lands? The ottoman empire ruled the Balkans for centuries and arabs controlled parts of spain for centuries. The mongols, persians and huns also came rolling through Europe. Wrecked land? Take a look at all the places in the world where whites are either a minority or they are nonexistent, and you’ll have your answer. Other than Japan, or maybe China, there’s chaos, poverty, and misery. Eventually, the entire world will be like that. There’s no leadership, innovation, inventions, or anything beneficial to the world coming from the non-white world. These non-white countries have been receiving billions and volunteer educators from white countries for generations, and what good does it do? The non-whites will become masters in the world, but really, masters of what?

White people are basically afraid of being treated how they or their parents treated minorities. That's basically the only reason on top of the fact white people are concerned about feeling out of place (I once went to camp with a white kid who ended up leaving about halfway through, our Councilor, also white, told us he just felt too out of place so he left). Tbh most black people don't care to fantasize about vengeance or anything of that nature but white people are really afraid that we do.

Nothing at all. However, cultures becoming a minority within a territory they used to dominate is a serious issue and must not be allowed to happen if it can be stopped. In some places cultural differences do match racial lines pretty closely so it may seem like its the same problem but it's really not. In others, they don't match and then its easier to tell that race is not the relevant bit. That said illegal immigration is one of the most critical problems of our time whenever it upsets the cultural status quo.
I doubt it is white as much as culture, and what people are taught/brain washed to believe. Some cultures are more poor and less exposed to junk messaging, and they reproduce more. Africa prime example. Humans used to make a lot of kids per family.
The problem would be that European cultures and the "white" settled USA was in power. That's shifting east. As power shifts to other cultures, there will be turmoil.

White people are a minority that in itself is not a problem. It's a problem if white people become a minority in previously white countries because white people built the western civilisation. The civilisation that, although everyone is criticising, everyone wants to live in. Which means that if white people disappear from countries that were built by them, so will their civilisation. And so far, sorry for pointing it out, no other race managed to create a civilisation that can compete with it in any way. And it's doubtful whether they would be capable of maintaining it by themselves. So even non whites should recognise it as a bad thing if they want to retain their way of living created by white people. No where else in the world is living as comfortably and as freely as in white countries and that's why only white built countries are "diverse", ie people from all over the world are trying to get to them.
If we look at the history of human migration what we is humans love to jump in to bed with each other. People who do those popular DNA tests usually reveal a mix of races simply because their ancestors interbred quite a lot. What's more likely to happen is the purity of each race is likely to be watered down to varying degrees across the globe.
I heard those DNA tests are a scam. For example, when it says 1% South African, what it's really saying is, there is a 1% chance that some of your DNA originated in South Africa, which is a completely different thing than saying you are 1% South African, yet that's how most people interpret it.

Look at the countries where those non-white people come from. They bring the same culture (s) and mentality that created the situations in the countries that those people are leaving.
THAT'S the issue. It's not an issue of skin color, it's an issue of culture. And if you don't think those people hold onto their cultures, all you have to do is listen to the way they introduce themselves and interact with others. If you listen to the children of immigrant families they will call themselves first generation, second generation, sometimes even third generation immigrants.

otherwise the paper seems more concerned with the perception and fear of the anti-immigration people than whatever actual threat immigrants pose... thats not the same thing. goes back to my main point which is that this is just fear mongering with no basis for it. this kind of thinking has lead to dangerous consequences in our history. Remove the fear however and that all goes away.
4th link is about immigrants from other countries feeling lonelier if they don't assimilate. i can concede this because its true of anything where you aren't part of an in group. you face isolation. but i'd argue if we become more accepting of their cultures while respecting our own we may reduce this and make them feel more welcome.

Please stop making ad hom arguments and dispute the source's content; let's keep this discussion as healthy and honest as possible. As for the source you sent; this addresses the issue of crime (which is certainly related to the discussion we're having), but it doesn't address immigrant cultural norms and ways of life. The issue with the country not being predominantly white, as I understand it (because that isn't something I actually agree with, myself) is that the White American way of life and approaching the world would be changed by the immigrant customs and beliefs.
Oof! That's a great question. I'm not sure I have a good answer. I guess I would define it as an unrealistically optimistic belief in personal sovereignty. Judeo Christian values. A desire to consume and push everything to a sense of excess. Above all, a desire to protect people's rights to be who they want to be.
If it's all about culture then why are Americans scared of it? We literally have no official culture. We're a mixture of cultures from around the world.
@NightHawk99 It's about familiarity. American culture is a blend of European cultures. It's not a blend of cultures from all over the world; it's a blend of European cultures. Americans don't want to lose things they are familiar with.
Because we can't know how or if those other cultures blend into the European fabric and if you fundamentally change the demographic makeup of a society that governs itself through elected representation, you elect people who generally aren't going to uphold those European ideas because those ideas won't be what the common person wants. If European descended people stop being the majority, the ideas and philosophies that brought us to where we are can be (and are being) overruled by people who simply do not share that world view.
To be clear; I don't think that needs to be a bad thing, I just think that if you want to preserve the American way of life, you have to be accepting immigrants who agree with and support that way of life. Case and point: we have elected officials from FL who reflect the Hispanic and Cuban view of the world, Ilhan Omar representing the Muslims and Arabs in MN, and so on.

And regardless of whether European-Americans are comfortable with change, you are correct that America will be unable to compete with China and Russia, that's actually already happened.

All that matters is that they don't place a great importance on any combination of those values. What it does is acknowledge that there are at least some immigrants who do not come to the United States with the intention of participating in our society to it's benefit. Our society only benefits from immigrants who wish to actively participate in it. First of all that chart is old as hell and considering that we are in covid times, the deaths of all races would dramatically be up.
Second, "white" people will be a minority not because of death but because the world is becoming a melting pot of different cultures. Europeans marry Asians. Blacks marry whites. It's highly likely our children and children's children will be coupled with others who are two or more races.
In a way I hope I'm around to see what the world is like in 2045ish. Because it would mean that humanities self destructive nature didn't destroy us before then. Also I also ready took steps to ensure I don't have a child. Because of that one can say that I am contributing to the the down trending white population in the US.
