That does absolutely nothing, do you know them? You seen him? You know what's happening? No, because you're not a detective on the case and you probably live on the other side of the planet. Worry about your own life while people are doing their job, you can't have any impact on the outcome and detectives already deal with enough stress not to have people who have no information on the case screaming and shouting at them on the phone every 5 minutes while they're trying to do their job.

Since he likes to camp out, he is in San Francisco camping out with the rest of the homeless. Since the police have been defunded nobody will be looking for him. It is the perfect place. Somebody claimed to have talked to him and he said he was thinking of going to California.
