For months people have been at sports stadiums throwing up "Trump Won" flags in protest and chanting "Fuck Joe Biden". The media had been trying to hide it... Large numbers of people have been doing it at baseball games, football games, NASCAR, horse races, you name it... As usual the media lie like they always do and when people were chanting "Fuck Joe Biden" in the background a bias reporter tried to act like they were chanting "Lets Go Brandon" because she's trying to protect the narrative that people approve of Joe Biden. So now “Lets Go Brandon” is a 1984 double speak way of saying “Fuck Joe Biden” and everyone is saying it.

The origin of this was an NBC Sports broadcast from a NASCAR race where the crowd started chanting "Fuck Joe Biden." Kelli Stavast, the reporter who was interviewing the winner, Brandon Brown, said “As you can hear the chants from the crowd, ‘Let’s go, Brandon.’” Only she could tell you for sure if she genuinely misheard the chant or if she was covering.

So it functions as both a reference to media misrepresenting the truth and a family-friendly way to say fuck Joe Biden.
