It's one thing for angry people to be muttering to themselves and others in bars about how terrible the opposition is, and quite another to have the leader of a major political party and at least three TV channels feeding that anger with nonsense and lies.

Tucker Carlson is just trailing a three part "documentary" about how Jan 6th was a false flag operation. Trump and Mike Lindell are lying their asses off about non-existent fraud in the election. Jones is, as you rightly point out, scum.

If you're proud of your country and believe the government is an evil Nazi-like state, it's perfectly rational to take up arms against it (like the guy in the video wants to). But it's not. They're lying to their followers in order to bring in such a state, to make the US more like Putin's Russia than a real democracy.

We can only hope that the Jan 6th investigation brings to light everything that went on, and the people really responsible for the attack suitably punished.
