+1 y“Gay-friendly” clergy tend to use the terms “love” and “acceptance” interchangeably, claiming that we must love everyone, because we are all children of God.
It is certainly true that Jesus commanded us to love everyone, but it is not true that we are all “children of God.” And it certainly is not true that we must tolerate and accept evil behavior.
Scripture repeatedly refers to “children of the Devil”:
No one born of God commits sin; for God’s nature abides in him, and he cannot sin because he is born of God. By this it may be seen who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not do right is not of God, nor he who does not love his brother (1 John 3:9-10).
You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:43-44).

All individuals are deserving of respect.
I am against the act of homosexuality as it pertains to me, because simply, I am a heterosexual man. But who am I to tell someone else, who they fall for is wrong or right, or where they choose to couple their plumbing or rub sticks to start fires?
The truth is, none of us are perfect, and even then we still are. Even 'true' Christians understand that ALL of us are God's children. It's unfortunate that there are so many arrogant beings that exist that feel they have authority to say that others are wrong.06 Reply- +1 y
@sage2021 I respect your perspective and your opinion here, and I'm inclined to agree, partially.
But you're talking about respecting an act, an orientation... I'm just talking about respecting people in general.
and where we disagree, I respect everyone, until I deem them unworthy of it.. not the other way around. - +1 y
@sage2021 and you're free to do so.. both I mean, quote my words and and pass judgement on who is and who's not deserving of respect.
Like I said, I respect your opinion, although you did not have to earn it. And I have no idea if "you've done such horrible things" (and I'm quoting your words) to someone or not, and I am not asking for that info in order to judge whether you're deserving or not.
God bless
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yI don't care, it's not my life and it ain't hurting anyone. There is nothing to respect or support. Why the fuck would I care about other couples relationship? Do I care about straight people's relationship? No. Let people fucking live their life without your 2 cents bitches

Sexual orientation is innate, so "judging" someone over it is idiocy.
"Supporting homosexuality" doesn't mean "Hey let's all be queer!"
"Supporting homosexuality" means accepting those people with a same-sex sexual orientation and, like me just now, calling out people the ignorance of people who "judge" homosexuality and don't "support" it as in accept it.10 ReplyNot counting the half-assed, fake, pseudo-lesbians who exploit and abuse men (and committed lesbians), I do not have a problem with homosexual/queer people. I try not to think about it at all, to be honest. I think gay sex (anal) is complete debauchery and very sick, but if it's just two people of the same sex that love each other, then whatever. Like I said, the only ones that really grind my gears are the hetero-moles ("'bisexuals'"). Ugh! I can't stand them and their exploitation of both straight and genuinely gay people. I thought it was called "LG*B*T" for a reason?
So, no. I'm not against it. But I won't be marching in any parades anytime soon, either.10 Reply
+1 yNo, and you're a piece of shit if you are.
What the fuck does it matter to you?
How does what two people do who you don't and will likely never know affect your life?
How does two gay men or two gay women getting married affect your life?
Oh, don't worry. I'll wait. Take your time and think of a good explanation. Tell me how two guys getting it on behind the closed doors of their home affects your life.
"I respect but do not support". Get the fuck outta here with that silly bullshit. You can't fucking respect gay people and not support them and their rights at the same time.00 ReplyWhy do people think this is something that they're even allowed to be "for" or "against"? You can be against welfare or for clean energy or against taxes or for voting rights. Why do people still think homosexual people made a choice? Do heterosexual people choose to be heterosexual? What about asexual people? What about race? Did Obama choose to be black? Did Ariana Grande choose to be Hispanic? What about your parents? Did you get a vote as to who they would be? What about people with congenital problems? Did someone choose to have bad knees? Or someone with Down's Syndrome? Did they choose that? You can't be "for" or "against" any qualities another person has that they themselves didn't choose to be "for" or "against." What century am I living in? Maybe it's the 19th century and I can choose to not let women vote because, hey, they chose to be a woman...

+1 yNope not against and fully support it.
when you have another question where guys would disown their daughters for being lesbians, then yes it still needs supported.
when we live in a world where a parent does not disown their flesh and blood for their sexuality, then we may have moved on as a society.40 Reply- 770 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yWhatever someone does behind the privacy of closed doors is their own business. As a Christian, I know what I believe. But so long as they don't try to force me to live by their idealized version of reality, then I won't try to force them to live by mine.
12 Reply- +1 y
That's just it. They are forcing it down our throats every chance they get. I'm sick of it. Especially when I see their rainbow flag hanging above our American flag. They may not be personally forcing it on you one one, but they want everyone to support their weird sexuality. Yuck!

Everyone has the right to liver their life however they want, provided doing so isn't stopping anyone else from doing the same. So where I take offense is when members of the LGBT community start "hunting". By that I mean going to businesses the don't cater to members of the LGBT community, with the express purpose of humiliating them and getting th shut down. Which they don't realize, or just don't care, results in all their employees getting blacklisted and never being able to find a job again because the just so happened to work for a company whose owner/ceo/board of directors/someone else high up above them had a thing against the LGBT community and refused to do business with them. I mean, I get it, hatred and bigotry are bad. But there are more mature ways to deal with them than by destroying the lives of innocent people who were just trying to make ends meet.
I realize this kind of thing has died down in recent years, but you still hear about it from time to time, and it pisses me off. You have to nuke this company and the lives of everyone who happens to work for them because someone said a mean word to you? Grow up.
+1 yNo. Why should u be? It's just a preference and an identity as well as love. What does it matter to you? Homosexuality isn't hurting anyone. So why judge? I simply do not understand. It's a form of love and a sexuality. Does that mean that you can't be straight if someone else says that you were to fuck and love a guy but don't feel that way?
20 Reply1.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I'm against promoting it as normal or having it outside of 'the closet'. I had a different opinion many years ago, but the more homosexual activists push their ideology on little kids and in the media & claim that anybody who disagrees is evil... I had enough. Now I don't think it's good for society based on who pushes it and why they're doing it.

+1 yI think marriage should be all about the children, not about the partners. So when the pleasure of those engaging becomes the focus of it, I think that we've already lost sight of its purpose. I would say it began with no fault divorce.
Personally, I think that homosexuality is and unfortunate by product of our fallen state, but no worse than any other sin (E. g. Adultery). However. It is not the job of the state to legislate against it, as it only affects those engaged in it.
If you're my friend, I will talk to you about it, and I have some that I do, and we remain friends. But for Society at Large, I don't care, just like I'm not going to tell you to stop smoking. Unless you're puffing it in my face. But I have yet to meet a couple that wants it at me. IMHO most people just want to Live and Let Live, and I'm fine with that00 Reply1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Nope I support it.
I just don't agree with an emphasis on sexuality where it becomes the most significant, most publicized part of a person. Skip the gay pride essentially-nude parades. Other than that, I have no issues with it. Live and let live.30 Reply- 492 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.

In this case you can be either for or against bc if you donot support it you don't want to see homosexuals and them being in your affinity it clearly establishes the point that you cannot respect it.00 Reply
