Should there be a worldwide moratorium on all heterosexual marriage?

A friend of mine who is LGBTQ is very angry that it took so long to legalize and recognize LGBTQ marriage rights while hetero and even poly based hetero marriage was the thing dating back to ancient times.

She thinks that the only way for LGBTQ people to heal are reparations that would make fair the inequality by hetero people being willing to have an international law that prohibits all existing and new hetero marriages for 100 years.

The only exception in her mind is a “couple with a trans partner or a poly group of non-binary partners living together with no gender pronouns.”

I think it’s a pipe dream and I told her she’s off her rocker. What does the GAG community think?

I really don't care what a person's preference is or what part of LGBTQ they are. I won't try to convert them nor judge them. But now that they have their freedom to openly declare their preferences, they want to judge others and restrict the rights of others based on their hetero preferences. Besides that being discrimination, how are they going to enforce it? A marriage license is no longer necessary to be married. In many states there are common law marriages. Are they also planning on banning two heteros living together?

I can appreciate what is being said; however, laws are all based off the Bible and religion. Many laws do not make sense in today's age.
