Why did people just back several decades ago accepted the S C A M ! ! ! called "Daylight Saving Time"?

DST is absolutely nonsense and it's pissing me off people are so into this scam that they're against abolishing this artificial time changing nonsense.

A lot of people actually are in favor of abolishing the time change. Several states have, in fact, passed resolutions to do just that.

The problem is that it will require a Federal law, to put into practice. So it's not so much "people" who are "into the scam" as much as it is a bunch of out of touch shitheels in Congress that just don't care.

It’s supposed to save energy but I don’t see how because now I have to turn the lights on earlier, I think it started around World War I
