Why won't daylight savings time (Springing forward/Falling Back) just die already? Are you a fan of it or do you want to see it go?

Texas has been trying to abolish daylight savings time since around 2017 and yet, we're still doing it. There are already something like 7 states that do not use Daylight Savings time, so it's not like there is no precedent for this, but once again, so much red tape and long processes surrounding this that have delayed what most hope will be the end of realizing you've gone to work an hour early or missed a flight due to the time change or the annoyance of having a young child/pet not able to understand the time change and having their schedules screwed up.

Why wont daylight savings time (Springing forward/Falling Back) just die already? Are you a fan of it or do you want to see it go?
I have to change clocks now, and I want to see it end
I have to change clocks now, but want to see it continue
I already don't have to change clocks, but would like for it to end
I already don't have to change clocks, but want it to continue
