Thoughts on daylight saving time?

Does it disturb u when it’s gets dark outside sooner then before bc of the daylight saving time?

I'm like 140 miles from the artic circle. Which marks perfect 24 hours daylight or no daylight ob summer and winter solstice. Also Alaska should have 2 more time zones closer to Hawaii time zone.

Grow up in high-school it's dark going to school. Dark leaving school. So same with any 9 to 5.

So changing the clocks is nonsensical all around and people adjust to that extreme changing daylight. The one thing we shouldn't adjust is losing an hour of sleep in March when the average person dosen't get enough all around.

Ontop of that the globe isn't universal about it and changes early October. The reason it's so late for USA is Halloween trick or treating. So it's sucky and inconsistent. Also Halloween should be the last Friday or Saturday of October it's also cool till 31st.

Back on track. It's ultimately just a vibe thing anymore. For myself personally a smooth minute by minute lost of daylight is better a vibe then abrupt hour change to avoid large scale changes.

It does not "get dark earlier" when you spend half the year lying about what time it is; the period from sunrise to sunset is the same length regardless of what your clock says. It gets shorter because we're closer to the sun, and tilted towards it. If you want more sunlight, GET UP EARLIER.

I'd rather NOT have people get killed by sleep-deprived drivers who can't see properly in the morning because the sun's not up yet.

I was hungry at 11 and 4 today because I eat lunch at 12 and dinner at 5 and my schedule was changed by one hour because of daylight savings.

DST is horrible, I hate it. Nothing quite like it being pitch dark at 5pm.
