When people celebrate our veterans does it ever occur to you that you are paying hommage to the men who raped millions of women and children in Europ?

I find it hard to say that thanking these rapists for liberating Europe with a catch, let's rape the women and children as a reward. Yet when they come back we can give them a pat on the back. Its one thing to liberate a nation but to systematically rape women to death and high five the next 20 soldiers in line.

Are you saying that American troops raped at least two million women during the liberation and aftermath of WW II? If so, do you have a source that substantiates that claim? I am certain that sexual assaults did occur but I doubt that the number is that high, since there were only about two million US troops in Europe durng that period.

It's just the ugly side of it, it's definitely not right, but it doesn't cancel out all the other men who fought without having rape in their hearts. Nor are the rapes the majority of a soldier's war time violence.

Also, the European soldiers were also raping women in their battlegrounds as well.
