I knew more would say black people because you have been programmed by the media and education system to think that. Jews were slaves longer then blacks. Jews were divided up all over the world. Jews are also considered white , so it is felt they had it all.

Publicly speaking white men face the highest discrimination/disrespect, but objectively they're not losing out on jobs or having discrimination effect their lives in a real way outside of potentially the school system where they put too much weight on gender or racial class. Jewish men and Asian men are similar where it's considered okay to publicly joke them.
Under the table discrimination overall I'd say somewhere between Asian men, black men, Arab men, or Indian men. Basically if they don't act a specific way they're just going to be treated as "other" and it's been shown more than once where people lose a job opportunity because of their race, or lose an opportunity to get into a school solely because they were in one of these 4 groups.
White women face the least discrimination from everyone overall. Women in general face less discrimination than men. Tho I think black women face the most out of women. They face a lot of BS for women tho.
When I weigh it all it comes down to Asian men or Black men, with the only real variance being public jokes and what they're usually discriminated from behind the scenes.
Asian men aren't likely to not get a job based on race, black guys are. Black guys aren't likely to not get into school based on race, Asian guys are. Can't joke black guys publicly but you can joke Asian guys publicly.
Public environments like bars, clubs, stores I'd say black people face more discrimination, Asians don't really face any there. Hard to say. Plus some circles of the black community don't get along with Asians and vice versa. It's pretty interesting lol

A man lost his job due to affirmative action and the employer hired two women in his place. A black woman and a white woman. He filed a discrimination lawsuit and won $10 million. But never got his job back. It is effecting their lives. That’s just one example. There were multiple white men in his place of work that lost their jobs due to affirmative action. And that’s just one place of work.

From what I've heard, if two people are equally qualified... the goals tend to push giving the job to the minority person. Also... can people actually be fired through affirmative action? I thought it was all about the hiring process?

You're not supposed to be firing people to make some diversity quota... or even, so far as I know, hire people who are less qualified to make some diversity quota. So far as I understand it, it's just that if 2 people are equally qualified, you're just supposed to give the job to the minority... And yeah, perhaps white people could be screwed by that... but how do we know the reverse doesn't happen just as often or moreso, with more qualified minorities being screwed out of jobs because their boss got along more with the white males he was a bit more chummy with in the interview?

My only disagreement is with his point suggesting that perhaps this is pretty regular thing versus a rare exception. I would say this is a rare exception, but I'm not sure what he's saying in that respect

@razzmatazz009 Yeah... that's why in my post I emphasized that context is important. Jews, on average, have a lot of political power, wealth, and influence. I do know they experience a lot of hate crimes though... and they've certainly historically experienced massive hate crimes. If we take into account the Nazis... they're the only group that experienced that extensive of an attempt at genocide so recently.

As of right now, I will say it's White men in the Western world, but the true answer to this question is ever-changing, because people are tribalistic, fickle, and stupid, and likely always will be.
I don't know which group is most discriminated against, and it'll partly depend on your worldview. From a globalist perspective, for example, I'd say Mexicans get the most discriminated against in the United States. They're largely prevented from coming here just because they weren't born here... despite Mexican culture fitting in very well with North American culture (unlike Arabic cultures, oftentimes). From a more nationalistic perspective you could look at it like North America is doing them a favor by letting any of them in.
I won't say Jews are the most discriminated against necessarily... but I will say that Jews are (bizarrely) the only group that people dislike for what people would ordinarily describe as positive stereotypes. Even if we resign ourselves to judging entire groups based on stereotypes... Jewish stereotypes are all pretty much good... and people dislike them for it.

@Halibut The implication is that people have a problem with legal immigration as well, which they don't. No one is preventing legal Mexicans from entering the US. It's illegal Mexicans, especially the gangs and drug cartels, which people (rightfully so) have an issue with.
I know what I would say, but I'm not wading into this particular Vietnam. I know it's idealistic of me, but what I don't understand is why this should even need to be a question. Even from a young age, I've always found myself making judgements about individual people with the only question I think matters: are they an a**hole or not? No group or classification of people ever all share the same qualities. Every group has some bad apples that bring shame and disrepute on the larger group. This is the risk of any group: that they will all be painted with the same brush. I'm not saying all groups are equal, but to echo a comedian (I forget which at the moment) "They're like everyone else: a few winners and a whole lot of losers."
I'm well aware of that. But I choose not to contribute to this conversation because I don't see any way it could be productive. Whatever I say, someone will disagree. My mind won't be changed by their opinion and theirs won't be changed my mine. The only thing I was expressing was a thought about where I think we should be heading. As there is no objective, quantifiable answer, I don't see that any good can come of it.
Definitely people from Muslim countries are the most discriminated against, racism against them became normalized. Then I would say black people, and Jews. I feel like those three groups deal with that on an international level. Mexicans are only discriminated by some Americans, Central Americans and some South Americans.

Unless you're talking about South Africans, the only way white people might be described as being discriminated against is that we can't say as many things as most minority groups can, and it's okay for minority groups to talk poorly about us in ways it's not okay for us to talk poorly about them. That's not going to impact most of us unless we're careless with our words at work, or a celebrity who makes money off their mouth though... and, as far as getting fired for making careless statements at work go... there are more white employers than minority employers and those greater networking opportunities (because people tend to veer more towards people more like them) might even make up for that. For example... who's more likely to easily get the promotion? The person of color who believes that reparations are owed to various minority groups... or the white republican who has more to talk about with his boss? Yeah... I do find it irritating to be condemned by the left for making various harmless comments. I'd like that to change. I've been called a Nazi and a racist for very mild statements... but, on the other hand, when I go other to a Republican discussion forum minority groups get treated just as badly if not worse. In terms of stereotypes... especially for black people... there are no positive black stereotypes that I can think of. If anyone is racist, who is anyone except a black racist... in my experience they're probably imagining black people like the goblins from Lord of the Rings.
