We more focus on spending our money to smaller and local shops, trying to avoid amazon (jungle online... although we've been sucked in lately). boycott, we've permanently boycotted junk food establishments because of... we'll.. they sell junk food, what's the point. McD's is an example. We avoid junk food in favor of buying real food... even if it's a quality cookie, better than a mass produced one made of garbage.

I thought that companies are allowed a certain amount of nasty things found in their products? I’ve heard of all things. Rat poop in bread, bags of nuts and cereal. As a child we found worms in raisin bran cereal.
I don't have the links. It just happened though so I'm sure you can find the info on Google if you search Kelloggs union strike. Basically 1,400 Kelloggs employees went on strike for two full months to try and get better pay. That means that 1,400 employees were so unsatisfied with their pay, that's a lot of people. Kelloggs tried to sue them when they went on strike for blocking the entry way to the building. Kelloggs finally offered them a raise after 2 months of going on strike. That raise was 3%. That's nothing. 3% of a $30,000 annual salary is $900. $900 extra per year is not a good raise. The employees turned down the offer and Kelloggs is now replacing those employees.
Kelloggs isn't struggling as a company financially. They use corn to make most (if not all) of their products, which is an incredibly cheap crop because it is the most popular crop in the world. The US grows about 1/3 of the corn in the world. It is used in most processed foods, alcohol, and fast food. It's also used in diapers, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, makeup, hand sanitizer, and many other products. My point is that it doesn't cost much to make their products and they have PLENTY of customers. So they can definitely afford to pay their employees better. Hiring new employees is probably going to cost more than it would've been to pay the current ones appropriately. But they're prideful and greedy.
I just noticed it a couple of days ago. I was eating their multi grain cheerios which state that they have 100% of daily value of several vitamins and nutrients. Whenever foods have 100% or more of daily vitamins or nutrients, your body can feel a difference and it feels better and not hungry or craving food anymore. You feel fulfilled. However, when I ate cheerios I didn't feel fulfilled at all. I didn't even feel anything. It was as if I was eating cardboard. So that's when I realized that they lied about the nutrients in the cereal.

@exitseven I believe they let you customize the golfballs with all sorts of stuff like "Kill Trump" and "Kill All Cops," but give you an error when you customize it with "Lets go, Brandon."
The problem with trying to boycott leftists is that they can use the power of the government to subsidize the corporations that are hurt by boycotts. The mainstream newspapers like the NYT are a good example. They were losing to independent journalists on social media. What happened? Youtube hurt its own profitability by making direct payments to newspapers and cable news channels, modified their algorithm to promote them over independent content creators, and began censoring those creators. This was a money-losing proposition, but Alphabet (the parent company) is dependent on government/defense contracts and was A-okay sacrificing Youtube’s profitability in order to appease a mostly left-wing bureaucracy.

A boycott is a protest. It hopes to accomplish change in the company. I don't boycott, I abandon companies. If they do traitorous shit, they will never gain my business again. It's a forever thing... I just leave them and let them circle the drain.
Well, from that particular article, it seems like the advice is misguided, at best. Not being what you consider "white". That said, not sure your practices there. I'll leave my comments at this as I'm not really qualified to comment.
@TrueConfection It’s the after sales issues. Have an oil light that came on at 215 miles (while running) and it’s come on 9 times since. It’s sporadic. Ten times towed to the shop. It’s on when arrives, it’s noted. Sits for service, by the time they get to it the light is off. They won’t change the sensor “because the light is not off”. First happened Dec *last year*. It was in the shop from Feb till Sept when my lawyer told me to bring it home. The long court thing has begun. All they had to was a single repair…
@exitseven I have always loved Toyota trucks. But my current truck is the last of their best. I never traded up, new ones have higher prices and noticeably cheaper parts. Nobody else wants the new ones either. Everyone local keeps trying to buy mine though. Every company has issues, but Honda is unforgivable to me.
Sounds like a lemon! Maybe talk to a different lawyer for a second opinion. I had a lemon once. I dropped all my receipts off at the lemon lawyer's office, never even met him in person, a few months later I was able to drop the vehicle off at the dealer and got a check for a full refund (even though I drive or for 2 years during all the repairs and such).

Mine is half the problem. - Lawyers… lmao First shut his office door and tried to charge me $4000 when lemon law pays for attorney fees in my state, so basically thought he was going to get $8000 without me knowing. The second retired in Sept and handed me to a third who still hasn’t fully returned my contact, keeps saying “Next week, will be in touch.” I’m better off just taking the video in front of a judge myself at this point.
