Is biology a failed science?

I was taught in 10th grade biology class that sexually reproducing organisms most often involve a male and female unless it is a hermaphroditic species like some plants. I now know they couldnt be more wrong and bigoted as Im told there are dozens of genders. I say we scrap biology entirely as it is a failed science.

There are only two genders. How we, as humanity, consider ourselves can be varied. Transgender? That simply means that someone who was born one way has taken steps to change how they were born. It doesn't alter the fact that there are two genders.
