The prophylactics (they aren't actually vaccines) don't stop infection. They don't stop transmission. They don't even appreciably slow it down. What they DO do is reduce symptoms (which, given how mild Covid actually is, probably causes a net INCREASE in transmission, since people don't realize they're sick. The CDC acknowledges this; I don't understand why so many people insist on trying to hammer nails with a screwdriver.
So are these NHL players being hospitalized? Having to sit games out because they CAN'T play, rather than simply not being allowed? Are they out because they're disabled, or just because they got a positive test result? If it's the latter, then the shots are working as designed.
The only way you can avoid getting Covid is to hide yourself away until the population as a whole hits herd immunity- which won't happen so long as the majority of it is going to far to avoid Covid. Given the waning nature and ultimately negative effectiveness of the shots (six months later, you're WORSE off than someone who never took it), the smart thing to do, if you *must* take the damn thing, would be to take it, let it set in, then go seek out Covid to build far superior natural immunity.
The vaccine doesn’t work. I myself have been tested multiple times for Covid after multiple exposures to people who tested positive and still come back negative. Now my brother on the other hand got all the vaccinations and boosters and then two months later he came down with Covid was hospitalized and now has a disability so the damn vaccine is totally bogus in my opinion but remember it’s supposed to be your body your choice your business your company do what you want and tell the government to get the fuck out of your way and everybody else’s as well.
Just because there are more cases doesn't mean they're bad cases. They could be asymptomatic, or super mild thanks to the vaccine. There would be an increase too because they are now testing daily rather than every 3rd day.
are u dumb? You dont get the vax to not get covid. You get it because it increases the likelihood you survive. Nothing is 100% and promised. God why dont people understand that

For me, the vaccine sped up my symptoms when compared to non-vaccinated co-workers.
All of my symptoms were gone within a week, while one of my coworkers still has problems with being unable to smell anything even after several months.
Vaccines aren't a cure. There a vaccine if you dunno the difference then that's your lack of education to worry about.
The NBA has the same problem with 10 players from the Bulls catching covid.
This was always going to happen. The data from Isreal and South Korea showed that the vaccine isn't going to stop the virus. Israel back in September/October were giving out their 4th dose and cases were still rising. But you gotbcalled a conspiracy theorist for pointing this out.
The statistic that I pay the most attention to is how many have died from covid and that is zero so far.
No vaccine could keep up with Tinder and other hookup apps.

I've only been saying that for what 18 months now...
No one is claiming the vaccine prevents anyone from catching CoViD, but it DOES prevent serious illness and death. Why are some people still so against something that is clearly saving thousands of lives? I don't get it.
Hence the only way to reduce covid is for people to recover naturally from an infection.
It's almost like the snake-oil sales pitch was just that: a snake-oil sales pitch.
