I'm not sure if you ever heard of the historian Neil Howe, the guy who coined the term "Millennial", he said that throughout history humanity ends up repeating the same mistakes of the previous century. According to him, it happens through four cycles like the four seasons, called the golden, silver, bronze and last but not least iron age.

Even though it sounds pretty pagan since the Indians had the same concept for what they use to call "kali yuga" it makes a lot of sense. After the war, society, economy, morals, everything is messed up so society is forced to create a sense of unity with nationalism in order to rebuild everything together. However, once you reach certain level of comfort, the stablished values start to be questioned and society as a whole starts to collapse.

If you look about the last century you'll realize a very creepy pattern happening to this world, first we have a pandemic problem that wipes out the population, then you have a strong economic crisis (caused specially because of the printed money), and then we have a war, which seems unenviable if you analise the current situation of Taiwan and Ukraine.

The US has a lot of similarities with the Roman Empire and as Rome once was destroyed because of the excessive devaluation of the denarius, the same is happening to the US because of the dollar. In my view we're witnessing a deep change in dynamics of the geopolitical status and the current situation of the US is completely predictable. Just so you know, the same thing happened to the French empire, as well as the British.

The decades long march through the institutions has destroyed everything stable and good about the country and replaced it with globalist, multiculturalist, Marxist, consumerist, insanity. In the past few years, the perpetrators of this subversion became so assured of their victory that they initiated the final stage, where the whole world would be brought to heel. Things have gotten so much worse so suddenly for two reasons. First, their endgame is hell, but design. Second, they didn't have right a grip on the world as they thought. The pieces weren't all ready, so their takeover isn't going smoothly. Now they're scrambling to make it work while overplaying their hand.

Did it though? I would argue the only real reason it was ever "good" was because of some massive rose colored nostalgia glasses and the spoils of two world wars in Europe, both monetarily and otherwise. USA was riding high on its winnings like a person who won the lottery but at some point you just have to come back to earth and return to "normal" and this is basically where you left off before all that happened.

Our society is set up to teach people how to be employees not innovators. Social media caused a shift in societies value system as well.
